Greetings, has anyone tried Leviathan? The ratings are high, but I just gave up on it after two attempts, сoz just tired of pressing the space bar/enter to skip the pretentious dialogues, The beginning is so choppy and unclear that I couldn't handle it. Can anyone share what makes this novel so good that it gets a 5-star rating?

I suspect those are more because they can tell that the quality keeps making jumps. RN, I'd say it's maybe like a 3/5 myself. The jumps between each update are pretty solid. The writing definitely needs to stabilize a bit since I'm still figuring out the pacing and whatnot. It's my first writing project that I've ever made so I'm still learning a bunch. Biggest thing I've been figuring out is character designs and renders. It does have some really fucking gigantic jumps in quality with basically every single update.

Biggest boost is the jump from the third update to the fourth, which is dropping soonish. For reference, this was the final render of 0.3:
This is the first render of 0.4: And yes,I'll be swapping out that previous render, but the scene will still have a pretty jarring quality jump in the middle of it. That's kinda just how it goes though, I will be swapping out some of the older and worse looking scenes, but I refuse to do an actual rework, I'm just gonna do like 1-2 scenes per update so my momentum is still all good.
