Noooo, if you don't like sandboxes, don't even think about trying it out. I mean, I like Agent17 because the character designs are really good, but aside from that, it's a bad AVN. The story is bad, storytelling is bad, the MC is a craphole, the sandbox is obnoxious, it's really grindy, the lewd/sex scenes are lackluster, and the dev is notorious for not meeting the deadlines/release dates that they themselves had set.
Cradle: beyond the veil is also going to have some banger animations.I actually wanted to make a post about it too
I also have an idea,to have something like "animations compilation",there I could have just a showcase of my favorite ones

Animations are quite time-consuming, demand serious skills and bad animations are worse to look at than no animations at all. It's not easy to make them!
Ok, finally took this thread's recommendations and played all the S-tier games!
-Eternum: Definitely the best of the best. Amazing story. Extremely hot and high quality sex scene animations.
-Ripples: Interesting story, though it hasn't progressed much in the past few updates. Extremely hot and high quality sex scene animations.
-Realm Invader: Just played through this one after finding this thread. Fun story, interested to see where it's going. Surprisingly high quality sex scene animations, though they are a bit limited since it's still early in the relationships.
-Pale Carnations: Has some fetishes and things that I don't really love, so the story isn't my cup of tea. Sex scenes though, when you skip the ones with fetishes I don't like, are top-tier.
-Cross Realms: Another one I just played after seeing recommendations on this thread. Amazing story (I adore Cradle) and great action. Sex scenes are kinda meh though. Very rushed feeling, and not particularly in-depth.
-New Horizon: Interesting story. Pretty hot sex scenes, though they're fairly limited since it's early in the relationships.

So...does anybody have any recommendations for games with similar-level animation quality to the ones I mentioned above? Looking for a new game and not sure what to try out next!
The Inn and Sicae both have some hot models, but I have no idea how to check where the next-best animations can be found.

Well, a quick answer is:

Fleeting Memories
The Inn and Sicae you've mentioned before are great too,but in Sicae,there are +- 3 top tier animations,there are much more in the inn,including season 2.
From all of them,the Inn has more animations compared to others
P.S. Just remembered about Desire of Fate,has a lot of animations just like the inn

Kinda interesting, non-standard models though don't you concur? E.g. (judging from the OP pics) the girl with the big hazelnut eyes and the VAM-esque hair (the guy (MC I reckon))

I'll probably skip Desire of Fate since it says it's abandoned though. The redhead in Between Humanity is pretty hot, so maybe that will be my next one to check out. Or The Inn if I want much more content I suppose. Thanks!
definitely check out companion of darkness as well. it's up there in production value with all those games you mentioned. and it has good story too

its mainly the newer scenes that are S tier animation. most of s1 is default hs animations.
the dev outsourced the scenes at the end of s1 and all of s2 to animators. the dev from realm invader is currently making the sex scenes iirc
