If you were to ask me, I'd tell you that Little Busters is the best VN by Key, and the main reason for this, is the cast and their interactions. Groups of friends in VN's are usually sassy/funny or intelligent/highly capable. Little busters took the best of both worlds, and then added some, allowing for scenes that range from funny to heartrending, and likability that went off the charts.

    Positive:
    - Most likely the best group of friends in a VN. I know, it's highly subjective, but Little Busters is the first name that comes to mind.
    - Some of the most unique characters in a VN. There's girl surrounded by cats, foreign girl who has trouble with both English and Japanese, serious guy who always joins the joke, girl with 5 S's on her name, senpai who seems to know everything and starts a baseball club, and more. Archetypes still exist, but difference factor is very high.
    - Incredible slice of life, and comedy is pretty good too. Imagine 2 people fighting using a bunch of live cats, and a children's toy respectively. That's Little Busters in a nutshell.
    - Great OST and voice acting. In particular, you should check out some of the more melancholic tracks, because Little Busters has a fair share of drama, and they really helped set the mood.
    - The minigames. The main ones are baseball, and a ranked combat system. If you fall in love with the characters, you will want to play the minigames, and the chances for infatuation are high.

    Negative:
    - The ending and the supernatural of the setting are complicated. Explaining would lead to spoilers, but the reasons for the "true true" ending are paper thin at best, and some supernatural elements are not helping the case. Suffice to say, not everyone was happy with it.

Score: Little busters is a 9/10 and one of my favorite VN's. If you want to watch one of the most lovable group of friends, in the history of all entertainment, and the mischief they get up to, then read Little Busters. I'm fairly certain you won't regret it.

(The version I read had no H-scenes. No idea what's here.)
