Story is a boring, MC is 12 years old in hes mind that go crazy just from seeing a girl in a towel, hes hole mindset is just boring, the conversations between them are really boring.

Out of nowhere Mary says lets go out for dinner and when they get home she ask if they are dating and next moment they are having sex, nothing really makes any sense, theres no building up a relationship or anything its as boring as the rest of the game.

Animations arent bad but not great either, they fuck and stop not sure if she cums or if MC ever did since he just pulls out and says nothing so guessing he dident cum, really weird sex scenes.

Next day its apprently last night with Mary and she says lets make it a special night, no scenes no nothing after that you get a text game is done.

Sandbox is flawed so when you click a spiderweb outside your room it dosent clean it but for some reason clicks the bed inside MCs room and he goes to sleep and then saves the game which the result of you not being able to complete the task and lose out on money in game, there is no manuel save or quick save so you cant reload since game has only a single save spot which you have 0 controle over.

Voice volume is off, some times MC voice is low and Mary is almost scremly blowing out your speakers even after turning down volume, same for music i turned it down to 30/100 and when doing puzzle it goes way up.....

Also puzzles are boring and pointless, not sure why you earn money and can buy stuff from the PC i never used any of it no need to since there is no story so no point to buying anything and you cant skip puzzles.

    Story 1/5
    There is none.

    Animations 1/5
    Wierd scenes well one scene....

    Music 1/5
Music is no good, it dosent set a mood or anything, its mostly annoying.

Let's start with the positives: the Puzzle minigame truly shines.

However, the same level of attention to detail and depth is not carried over to the storytelling aspect of the game. Disappointingly, the story feels like a mere afterthought, woefully lacking in substance and engagement. What could have been an epic narrative to accompany the exceptional puzzles instead turns out to be a short, uneventful tale that fails to fully captivate the player's interest.

It is worth noting that the game's overall presentation is undeniably polished, Live with Mary oozes with a sense of quality and professionalism. The developers have clearly invested significant effort into creating an aesthetically pleasing and immersive world that draws players in with its charm.

However, the potential of this captivating world is left largely untapped due to the limited scope of the story. To truly elevate the experience, the developers would be wise to consider enlisting the talents of a skilled writer who can breathe life into the game's narrative. A compelling storyline that intertwines with the exceptional puzzles would elevate Live with Mary from a good game to a truly outstanding one.

In conclusion, Live with Mary showcases a remarkable concept that teases players with its intriguing possibilities. The Puzzle minigame is an absolute triumph, showcasing the developers' prowess in crafting challenging and satisfying brain teasers. Nonetheless, the brevity and lackluster nature of the story, while wrapped in a polished package, leave players yearning for more. To fully realize its potential, it is my sincere hope that the developers will consider bolstering the narrative by enlisting the talents of a skilled writer. Only then can Live with Mary achieve its rightful place among the ranks of gaming legends.

I'm sorry, but what a waste of time.

It is more of a prototype than a game.
    Camera angle is nauseous.
"Gameplay loop" is terrible, find clickable spots around the house for some money, go to work (i.e., solve jigsaw) for more money to buy gifts for Mary.
Dream scenes are very annoying. Wish every dev stopped with that.
Audio sounds do not get saved. And I wanted that because dialogue is not skippable, and it is way too slow/bad voice acting.
MC is that teenage stupid kid, stupid reactions and lines.
Mary is ok at least, good model.
There are two sex scenes, animated, but short.

    Unreal was wasted here.
I understand someone being overjoyed learning what can be achieved with it,
    Been there, done that.
This could be way better if made in a simpler version using Ren'py, skipping the annoyance to walk around very, very slowly.

What a terrible excuse of a game. A run down of everything it did wrong:
    - The house, it looks completely artificial, no sane human would live like that.
    - The minigames, how "fun" to walk around checking for weird stains and spiderwebs to clean, a timed-click-to-make-food game as well as a puzzle game.
    - The breadcrumbs that make you think this game is much larger then it is with a full blown inventory, where you can inspect items, this is not really used at all. A phone that you get to use 3 times to check sms conversations. A spy camera system that can be placed in 3 different locations in the bathroom, where one with let you see some mild solo petting, while the others will not.
    - The pacing, so much could be done to build up for the actual sex, instead we go from 0 to 100 in one stroke.
    - The complete lack of interaction between the two characters in the daily events, in the "free roam" (using that term very loosely) you can either look at Mary or give her presents.
    - The static sex scene, you get one scene in the game
You don't have permission to view the spoiler content. Log in or register now.
where the camera is fully railroaded, with no player input at all. What's the point of having a real-time rendered 3d game where the player can do nothing?!
    - The terrible body morphs during sex, genitalia, bellybutton and nipples looks flat and missing collision.
    - The horrible voice acting, thankfully you can mute dialog (mostly, some lines are still spoken).
    - The endings, what kind of porn game drops the line "then we will need to make this final evening extra special..." *FADE TO BLACK*.
In summary, this is a bare bones title that's a proof-of-concept walking simulator moonlighting as a game.

"Live with Mary" as opposed to "Life with Mary" or more accurately "a few really fucking weird days with Mary" is kind of like what would happen if two primitive versions of ChatGPT got together to write some kind of improv romantic drama, except this is based in Unreal and there *must* be a few porn scenes. Then the AI's decided it would be wonderful if they voiced the characters too.

So to start with you're getting paid to look after your sisters house whilst working a part-time job - as it turns out this mostly entails mopping up ghostly cumstains and two feet wide spider webs that show up every day or so, then doing jigsaw puzzles. This would be the whole game, but some K-pop idol reject who majored in Linguistics is coming to stay. Your sister for some reason didn't know she was going to be out of town for "a couple of weeks" or something and decided not to say anything to this chick. When this girl knocks on the door on day 1 of your residence, no alarm bells go off in her head when you answer. Not even when she's brought into a bedroom then questions when the sister is returning whilst a full grown man she doesn't know is blocking her only reasonable exit. This would be surprising except you see her resume before this and not only does it contain multiple grammatical errors, this girl can't seem to hold down a job for more than a year. Now not only are you cleaning and working, you've gotta cook for this girl too.

It's not totally horrible but there's a lot of dumb shit walking around this house. Go outside and check out Yggdrasil just chilling in the skybox. Go in the living room and look at the world map text art and notice Korea is missing (in a game about a Korean girl :WaitWhat: maybe it changes later idk). Why is the garage completely barren? Who has lighting like this in their house? Will anyone ever buy the milk the post it notes keeps asking for?

You get to interact with Mary sometimes in the mornings and evenings, your relationship based on your cooking for her and you buying gifts for her with basically all of your paycheck. She mostly loiters around, changes her phone wallpaper to new selfies and eats your food.

I spent basically a whole week just making money to buy shit to give to Mary, but somewhere I didn't do enough to get a better ending. After no success peeping and no real scenes to speak of - Mary asks to go out for dinner, gets drunk and fucks you on your sister's bed. There's no interaction in the scene, 3 vanilla positions and not even a cumshot, but I'm just glad Mary doesn't try to talk to you mid way through and sticks to generic moaning.

I came home the next day, sat next to her on the couch, told her I miss her like a fucking simp and got rejected for shower sex. By evening, Sis calls to say she's coming back and Mary wants to make it a special night if its going to be the last you share together. Fade to black.

Text ending narration says you drifted apart, back to main menu. Never even got to see Mary's log cutter.

    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Big sis might be coming back, but I'm not, Mary can make her own fucking linguini. 2/5, might have been redeemable with more content, better dialogue and reasonable pacing.
