How to load/convert G8 morphs and characters in G9 figures
For this example, I'm using a Genesis 8 Female figure. My example language will use Genesis 8 female. You can swap your appropriate figure in place of the Genesis 8 female. You can use Genesis 8 male or female and Genesis 8.1 male or female. I've been told that this also works for Genesis 3 male and female figures.
Notes:
There are some figures that won't work properly due to disfiguration around the eyes. Using other software, you need to adjust/Fix the OBJ file that you exported.
You don't need to start at the very beginning for every figure. You can load the Genesis 8 Female Dev Load figure and start at the "Import OBJ. Select File. Select Import. Select the G9 Base G8 Female Fit OBJ file" step in the instructions.
Separate head and body morphs for the Genesis 8 Female often work better than the entire figure morphs.
You will need to add a Genesis 9 figure's materials to the blank grey Genesis 9 figure you created.
