This game has big potential for several reasons:
- It's extremely polished already in its early stages. UI, sound effects, music - everything is top quality. Very rare to find in even fully developed adult games.
- The character models look great, having different expressions for different situations. AI art at its best.
- The animations on the gameplay/world screen look really nice. My only complaint is about the face portraits/circles. Maybe those should be still images, reading can be a little distracting with the expressions moving around.
A few suggestions:
- Ease of controlling the user interface can make a huge difference. Something a lot of games do for example is make right click automatically close UI windows instead of having to press the X icons. The phone screen would benefit from this a lot.
- Writing out numbers with letters will make the story flow better. For example, write 'three hundred years ago' instead of '300 years ago'.
