Anyone run this successfully on linux? I'm on Arch Linux 6.18.3-zen1-1-zen x86_64.
When I run the bin to start for linux, it runs this: (minus the last couple lines which only print once I kill the game)
Then when I press C, it opens this: and freezes on the last line.
I have steam and proton GE installed.
Any tips? I've been troubleshooting on and off for months now :(

I encountered an interesting bug. Apparently, grabs meant to restrain and strip down Lona can fail, and if they do fail Lona behaves as if she's been stripped and makes comments about being naked despite being fully clothes. Funnily, this might be exploitable as a weird way to be heavily armored and get the Nudist trait's bonuses active, but I'd rather find a way to fix it somehow if anyone knows how.

Guys, can anyone explain how alarm works? I am triggering alarm while trying to juice enemies (There are no one else nearby). Is it because I am too slow with qte? or the only way to never trigger alarm is kill the enemy?
Juicing a NPC that can trigger an alarm won't prevent said alarm to go off. The only way to avoid the alarm is by not being spotted, killing ennemies fast enough, damaging/killing them with inanimate object such as bombs, traps and boiling blood pools, and stunning them through whatever ways.
This was from last year but can you explain the debuff? How do you debuff someone as succubus/acolyte lona?
There's a divine item called 'Relic of Retribution', it has a skill called Judgment that can reduce a NPC's DEF/SUR down to 0. You can only use this by enabling Acolyte trait.

I am only just realising that it is a thing for the Judgment skill. Very Cool!!!

I played this for the first time a week ago. JFC....lol

It's dark but it's a ton of fun.
At first you feel helpless without knowing anything or what to do, and how the world itself is always trying to screw you... Until you slowly start understanding how the mechanics work, learning how to circumvent any issue and bend the game to your knees *evil laughs*

While on the topic of Roleplay-S, I'm liking the new diverse skills and mechanics being added there. Having the possibility to combine an Acolyte build with Magic and Physical builds (which is not possible in vanilla) is really great. It's not a mod made for beginner however since it has an even harsher progression curve than vanilla with the added limited save.

Still, one thing that I particularly don't like, and even commonly despise in all RPG that has this, is the massive amount of grind required to unlock most of the traits. Sure, grind is a common thing in RPG, and vanilla LonaRPG has this too to a certain extent. But Roleplay-S takes it to a whole other level. While it's possible to unlock most important skills in vanilla LonaRPG by playing normally and completing each missions one time, here in Roleplay-S, you're required to repeat the exact same actions, exact same quests over and over before being able to unlock just the first set of starter traits. This, I do not like. At all. But I see the vision, and I can understand the direction the modder is trying to head. But it's not for me. I love the added diversity and difficulty, but I despise the added necessity of a giant grind. And that's just me personally. I think most RPG players wouldn't mind grinding and repeating the same action for hours on end. I used to love doing that in the past, but base LonaRPG and DOS2 made me realize how fun a RPG can be without the need to, how great a RPG with a heavily pushed and well concocted horizontal progression can feel.

All in all, despite my hatred for the intense grind, I'll still heavily play Roleplay-S since it's overall fun. Although, I'm pausing it for now due to two massive problems that may get solved in the future. One is, the stats that you grinded for dozens of hours will be resetted after a preg rebirth (not sure about Behelit rebirth). Now this is a giant kick in the nuts. If there's ever an update that requires a rebirth, then bye bye to all those stats you farmed for hundreds of hours. This wouldn't have been too big of a problem if Roleplay-S didn't push so hard on the necessity of a massive grind. Two is, for some reason, stats stop increasing when preg rebirthing into another race such as Moot-Abomination (not sure about Behelit rebirth). So, can't play my favorite deceptive monster of a Lona for now.

The game opens up once you understand its systems and mechanics. It's more about knowledge than skill. But if you do get the hang of it you can slaughter pretty much everything by yourself. Just to later realize the real winning move is pumping WIS and collecting certain mushrooms for mountains of cash.

I absolutely agree. I hate grinding, and while the additional content is cool, the balance is dreadful. Some role-play scenarios are also cut off. For example, you can’t go through certain slavery routes early on because your HP is so low that you simply can’t survive them, scenarios you could survive in the vanilla game.

That’s why I’m trying to rebalance it. I increased EXP gain and boosted the starting HP and stamina to be closer to vanilla.

However, to be honest, I’m still not satisfied. In the midgame you become too strong. If anyone has suggestions on how to improve the early game without breaking the mid and late game, I’m open to ideas.

I’m also planning to change the requirements for traits and items (mostly lowering them) and to make random chests more consistent. Right now, you can get anything from literal trash to an endgame weapon.

If anyone is interested, I’ve uploaded the modification I mentioned. I’d really appreciate any feedback.

I dont feel like playing the game anymore I played for like 8h
AI of the characters suck I dont want to finish the game because they cant walk in the straight line
Quests have interesting story to it but doing them is pain in the ass because of the ealier mentioned AI of characters.
I can relate. I made a few small improvements in the Companion_Fail_Safe. It only affects movement outside of combat for companions and rescued girls. It’s not much, but you can try it and see if it helps.

I also added a third mod to the upload. It's my preference for the calculation for the sex attack. Now every of the Nymph, Prostitute, Succubus and Lilith traits increase the scaling for the sex attack through CON. Also Nymph and Prostitute don't give a flat attack boost anymore but Succubus a small instead.

Edit: Added the said lower requirements for traits to the RolePlayS Mods

same here, maybe it new bug for recent versions? Happen with me at some point and dint notice until later, now it distracting, fix would be nice if posible '"if anyone knows how".

just found out, only 'nice' part is, look like this bug happening only while wear cloth pice type wich was forcefully 'removed' from you by enemy = no need to change whole armor set, in my case i just change boots for enother set pice and bug "gone" while keep my Stylish outfit.

COMPANION MOVMENT IS SO SHIT I HOPE THIS HELPS!!!!!!! do i put the folder in the mod folder?
You have really a talent to encourage other to help you.
Don't bother to use the mod, i don't think it will help your mood. It only prevents rescued girls from running in the opposite direction and makes your companion jump to you if he is too far away.
