Okay people. I need to do some over due over hauling to all the text files.. It's about saints, orkinds, and seawitch/god/ess.
So, what I need to understand as a non native English speaker is, what is the difference between Orcs and Goblins, and is Orkind like a family name of all? I've seen LotR but it isn't clear to me. And why mix c and k? Is it one orkind and several orkinds? Or are all just Orkind?
Going by the variable in interspecies breeding there's a definitive difference cause there's 2 type of babies that lona can give birth from the Orkinds, I gander eccma use orkinds as a blanket for the Ogre and Goblins instead of having to repeat saying ogre/orc/goblins in every sentence.
I'm not sure of the Saint, either works, I'm guessing its like Jesus or warhammer 40k emperor of mankind type of situation that the word Saint is used for.
> I understand there is a false seagod/ess/witch and the real one.
> but he statues you can see all over the place is clearly a Cthulhu type of sea god/witch, but the sea witch you rescue is clearly not it
From my understanding regarding those there's 2 detail about it, at least for me, confirm the sea witch you rescue is the real one.
First of all, she can awaken lona capability to transform into Deep One Lona if you have the trait, clearly she have actual magic affinity.
Secondly, she knows the history of the fishkind on the island and mentions of how, when Lona asked if she's a goddess being, did she not help the main island, is because there are other god that supposed to take care of that side, and she's only interested in looking out for her kind.
There is the bit mentioning that due to her (sea witch) very rarely not showing herself to her people, that people were doubting who she is, hence the scuffle and dead bodies around her when player met her.
There's also the part when you escort Abortionist kid doctor to fish island where the fish people betray the deal and imprison him, that the fishkind people were angry that the people from lona's island tried to trick the fishkind there claiming that someone is the true sea witch, only for them to find out the person is fake. So there could be the reason why the (maybe actual) sea witch is attacked is because the previous subversion that the mainlander tried.
As for statues, I think it's definitely referring to cthulhu, and sea witch is a different entity. That or the statues is to refer to the old fishkind people that will revert to the primal ones when they reach certain age (you can see it in the escort quest for abortionist kid)
