Probably not. It would work the same as the eng files. If you start the game on mtl language, and if the mod is made to work with the already set language folder, then should be fine… unless it specifically needs to be referenced from a language folder named “eng” or “cht” or etc.So.. Was trying to figure out how UMM works.. Got most everything correct.. at least I'm pretty sure, but when I went to run the game it said that there was no MTL version of UMM... So I just made a copy of the English version of the folder and named it MTL... Will I end up regretting doing this or not?

You can bypass that too by renaming the Eng folder to anything and renaming the mtl folder to eng.
Eng-> real Eng
Mtl-> Eng
Worked for me to double translate with mtl by using the cht folder name because it references the cht folder to make a mtl folder.
