for r2.6 on 0.9.0.5, make sure you have UMM and the r2.6._0905 file

or use r2.7 which removes the need for UMM

There are no dedicated CG art for animals, but you can have sex with them, using the Juicing Skill you can get pretty much everything to fuck you, also you can not get pregnant from them.

They fall under the "Other" race, which always result in a miscarried pregnancy (when one is conceived)

Only successfully done so with horses and boars though when I tested while curious about the mechanics.
