north side of the city, there is a cave, use it, it connects to the sewers.
Is there any way to cheat stamina? I can't get anywhere on the map without her collapsing again and immediately being ambushed and/or captured by slavers or goblins again

If you're at that point, you might as well just start a new save.

On a separate note it seems like google translate does a good enough job for the text. I've used it to translate the milo quest and it seemed good enough. I wonder if there is a quick way to just automatically translate all the text.

So any chance of getting lesbian content and/or meaningful relationships with other characters?

Ugh, tested the bone staff and talisman with full wisdom build. Not viable for any kind of actual combat. The talisman shows at least some promise. The staff looks badass. cumstaff.jpg

Filthy Staff
Corrosion orb (3 STA, 1 mood) - A fireball-type projectile that deals minimal initial damage, but leaves a puddle that deals frequent tick of decent damage to anyone standing in it. Can be used with a shield for decent efficiency if you keep enemies in puddle while blocking. This spell cannot be cast in melee.

Abomination Totem
Malicious Spore (3 STA, 3 mood) - A pink living orb that travels slowly for moderate distance and explodes into 5 puddles of goo. Deals minimal damage upon explosion and small damage to anyone standing in the good, far lower tick rate for damage compared to the staff.
Fanged Tentacle (4 STA, 3 mood) - Summons a stationary tentacle ally in front of you. You can have multiple tentacles summoned at the same time & they draw enemy aggression. About same cast time as fireball. Deals moderate stamina damage, minimal health damage and attacks kind of slowly. The spell fails if the tile directly in front of you is blocked, but casting cost is paid.

Tested with level 17 meek Lona, glasses, full wisdom. 37 WIS. "Minimal damage" = about same as water staff, 9-20 against deep ones. "Moderate damage" = about double of that. I'll attach two saves if anyone wants to test them.

Ah crap, that means it's defaulting to the compiled scripts instead, that's my bad. The easiest fix is just to edit the FileGetter script from within VX Ace. That's what I did, I can confirm that works for sure. I was trying to make a simpler solution that wouldn't require more programs but looks like it's going to be more troublesome to not use it.

Go grab yourself a copy of VX Ace if you don't have it already, i'll walk you through the next step once you have it. I'll try to see if I can find an easier fix for this problem some other time, but i'm working on some other tweaks right now.

Thanks was just wondering about these. I can't help but keep switching back to my mage playthrough because I much prefer the magic to most physical weapons/combat (Stealth/ambush is really good too). I was hoping there'd be some point where magic started to feel as good as it did at the start in the current version, but guessing that's not possible if those weapons don't hold up either.

I still want to find them in my game.

A lot like very early work in VH. I hope it goes the same direction and stops trying so hard to be edgy and lets itself turn into a decent HRPG. Otherwise it's just boring and tedious. Everything takes so much time to accomplish so little. Not fun, not interesting.

Still haven't found the missing daughter quest area. Been to most the "blocks" areas in the north. I have no idea if the caravan dude you have to escort to the 2nd city is connected to her quest. It looked like it might have been a caravan issue, but the with no translation, no idea where to go from there. Worst part is that save is during her period so I'm slow as fuck and taking stamina damage every time I go exploring to look for the damn quest (Sleeping multiple days is for suckers). Mage build + period = snail.

Think I'ma just wait at this point. I don't like missing out on information/story.

No pain, no gain. Masterpiece of HRPG imo. If you have time to understand mechanics and combat system in this game, if you have patience to find stories behind (somewhere crazy) npc's, if you dare enought to fight against this World... Then you may find much more fun in your existance, moreover you may find that harcore of this game is like cherry on a cake, making it more attractive.

The game has a much larger scale than I initially realized too. A lot of it isn't translated yet, but once you leave the city and start moving around the world, it's a bit overwhelming tbh. If you don't explore, you won't see how much shit there is. Lots of room for more crap too. We already probably need a wiki/world map lol. You don't get exact directions for much, I normally wouldn't mind that but we can't avoid ambushes (Even if you avoid it, you'll immediately get ambushed again until you fail to avoid it. Seems like a bug.). So getting across the map and exploring is pretty obnoxious right now.

And yeah, it's meant to be a massive sandbox game. This is the type of game that will feel incredibly empty and potentially feel slow until more content is added. It's not a linear story where you get to play 100% of the potential of the game up to the end of the current demo/content. It's spread out all over the place and balance is going to be fucked for quite a while I imagine. At least the stamina management is better than it used to be lol. Later content still requires chugging stamina potions/herbs because it lasts too long and goodluck resting in some combat zones. Stamina balance is always going to need some help.

We also desperately need a questlog. I wouldn't mind a world map either, even if it isn't too detailed.

So I used google translate to mass translate 9 files. I used some quick formatting to get the text back in order (Google dumb. It "translates" text that is \ and adds spaces where there shouldnt be among other stuff.)

I'm not sure if people want some shit tier google translated jank to hold you over till actual translations, or if the dev is fine with this. Its even more jank than google usually is, since individually translating the text alone yields... actually pretty good results. But having google do everything (and thus not take 50 years and be extremely tedious) has... mixed results... but I'd imagine most folks understand it better than Chinese.

Example of google translate jank, pretty readable ehy?

It's to the north of where the missing convoy was. In a mountain cave.
