So far against boars and skeles, this seems like a complete improvement. Using version 2 with just melee so far, I'll keep going and try out the bow. No longer wasting half my attacks missing enemies that seem like I should hit them, whoooo~ Melee feels so much better to use now.
The boar charge is slightly more dangerous now for the player, but it wasn't too bad. When I was struck outside the square by a boar charge, it at least looked like Lona should still be partially in its path, so visually it made sense. I'll have to play with boars more to see if I can make it look weird, but it seems acceptable for the buffs to Lona's ability to hit.
Getting ganged up on might be a bit worse, but that was always a death sentence anyways.
Funny I have to get used to not swinging so early now, I have a tendency to attack before enemies appear like they should be in range of the spear because of the previous hitboxes lol. Going to take a while to get used to this.
Edit: Ah, I did notice a problem with ranged. If a boar is charging an attack, a basic hit from the bow will just disappear (The arrow disappearing) without the boar taking any damage. Gif in attached. That's pretty strange since it's traveling in a straight line.
