Anyone know what's the go here? How does one get the Dark Cauldron now?
You can also use Basic Skills to break them if you have enough enough traits in one skill

Now you got cauldron from the star, but you can cook only basic stuff. Advanced stuff now required a 10 and more surv.

If you are playing on hard mode(the default difficulty, not hell or doom mode) you can use the skill "basic needs" to get the option to attempt to break your restraints in exchange for stamina. In hell or doom mode you can pay Bubba in the steel shop to the left of the Burning Keg to remove them (you probably bought the chains from him in the first place).

does SCU actually factor into any weapon damage calculations? my understanding was that it was just ATK for physical weapons and WIS for magic

he is playing Sneak/thief Lona so SCU will be his best friend, also Long bow and enhanced dagger skills do well even with ATK 1. Eventualy you will need to spend points in ATK but at the beginig is not necesary

I see, everyone starts with the Cauldron skill now. I'm playing on an old save and it doesn't add the skill to my load out.

Did they make the Indiana Jones dude a lot weaker or is bringing him to the cemetery / mine clearing quests still viable? The guy ran out of stamina fighting zombies so I'm not sure how his chances look in the mine.
I'm trying abomination Lona, it's fun but the sickly curse can be a pain to manage, thankfully in the city sewer rats work to cure you and in the wilderness you can catch a stray rabbit or goblin fairly easy. Feels pretty underpowered compared to the fishman lona transformation though, but that one's a lot harder to achieve.

He do his work very well and if he run out of stamina... who cares? he still can be a sponge dmg while you kill the enemy... he died? who cares? he respawn and is cheap to recruit again

i think he sometimes loses against elite undead if he has a bad engagement against them. you see it more often post-necromancer quest and/or on higher world difficulties
best guide to play this game : dont be horny when you already picked the tough perk
Ultra sad lona mode. Sex is outright repulsive to her, whereas timid lona just shrugs and accepts it and nympho lona is ready for cock.
