The latest update for Roleplay-S is out and it contains lots of interesting mechanics. What I'm most interested in is the companion mechanics where you can grow companion's stats(?), not sure but I'll have to see it for myself. I've always wanted to take this girl with me but she's so freaking squishy, here's hoping I can train her to be better.

if you're sensitive to anything at all... don't play this game
From crippling debuffs from menstruation, straight up slavery, invasion of a different race ... an stereotypical negative depiction of a jew is by far one of the tamest dipictions.

And considering theres an entire quest that depicts the catholic church as a group only interested in enslaving and raping children ..
haha based, i love this game and its creator lol, but the guro porn is gross it may and will give you ptsd, i avoided it completely:)

"crippling debuffs from menstruation" just like in real life lmao

Hype. Btw do you know if the leveling up is faster? cause i found it way too slow and by the time I would reach the requirements for my class i'd basically be at endgame

The save of the previous Roleplay version is incompatible, and Cheat mod doesn't have 0.9.5 support yet; it's so over :HideThePain:

It's certainly a lot slower than vanilla game which is pretty bad imo... it's not very beginner friendly. Also, the grind to level 99 in the vanilla game was already bad enough (for me), I'm not about to do another possibly longer grind again, so I just grabbed the Cheat Mod and hit level 99 instantly... too bad my save from vanilla game doesn't work here (since I've been farming sex ATK level in that save).

I have to admit, the current trait system of Roleplay-S feels way too restrictive in a lot of ways. While you get more stats in this mod, the fact that you're required to put lots of trait points in 1 or 2 types of stats in order to unlock some basic skills and items such as juicing, shield, etc, really is killing the flexibility of trait building. I think Roleplay-S as of now is a downgrade version of the vanilla game when it comes to this particular part. Mixed building here doesn't work as well as it does in vanilla game.

But I'll give credit where credit is due, the new companion system is pretty good, on top of being able to grow a companion's stats, you can also extend the hiring period anywhere without having to go back all the way to where you originally recruited those companions (not sure if Cecily and Greyrat are the same though), there's also some new weapons that have parry built into them, much like Katana, which is pretty nice, not to mention the new skills. I think the biggest win in this mod compared to vanilla is the fact that Acolyte build is no longer locking you out of the other build such as magic and physical builds, so you can mix Acolyte build with another build and create something akin to an Inquisitor (Magic+Healer) or Paladin (Physical+Healer), though I still wish the trait requirement weren't this harsh. Ah and as a sidenote, in vanilla game (haven't tested if it's the same in Roleplay-S too), the Judgement skill from Relic of Judgement reduces any NPC's DEF/SUR down to 0, regardless of how high their DEF/SUR are. This is an extremely good debuff that allows you and your companion to quickly chopped down the health of those NPC with super high DEF.

I haven't tested Roleplay-S that far yet so I can't really give my full thought on it for now. I'm pretty curious about those Behelits mentioned in the log. I'll look into that later.

Some of the perk choices are questionable, too. Blood bullet damage being dependent on STR and CON points, while blood wave damage is dependent on WIS and CON points, is some bs, especially when the Knight of Blood job in the previous version had them both dependent on STR and CON.

And Mana being used on one of the two-handed weapons' skill is harsh since they have like 10 mana.

It has so much more storage points than vanilla and the stats increase HP and STA differently to reflect the class is pretty nice ig. And the water wave skill actually bounces people back multiple times like the animation is a cool touch.

Sorry I wasn't clear but what I meant is that I wanted ot know if leveling up in the new version of roleplay-s is faster than leveling up in the older version of roleplay-s.

Also on an unrelated note do you have a bug where the game shows you errors relating to roleplay-s and the mtl tool? because it gives me that error then I can't read the name and description of the new skills. also are you supposed to start without the dodge, throw rock, rally trumpet and dark cauldron skills?
