It's certainly a lot slower than vanilla game which is pretty bad imo... it's not very beginner friendly. Also, the grind to level 99 in the vanilla game was already bad enough (for me), I'm not about to do another possibly longer grind again, so I just grabbed the Cheat Mod and hit level 99 instantly... too bad my save from vanilla game doesn't work here (since I've been farming sex ATK level in that save).
I have to admit, the current trait system of Roleplay-S feels way too restrictive in a lot of ways. While you get more stats in this mod, the fact that you're required to put lots of trait points in 1 or 2 types of stats in order to unlock some basic skills and items such as juicing, shield, etc, really is killing the flexibility of trait building. I think Roleplay-S as of now is a downgrade version of the vanilla game when it comes to this particular part. Mixed building here doesn't work as well as it does in vanilla game.
But I'll give credit where credit is due, the new companion system is pretty good, on top of being able to grow a companion's stats, you can also extend the hiring period anywhere without having to go back all the way to where you originally recruited those companions (not sure if Cecily and Greyrat are the same though), there's also some new weapons that have parry built into them, much like Katana, which is pretty nice, not to mention the new skills. I think the biggest win in this mod compared to vanilla is the fact that Acolyte build is no longer locking you out of the other build such as magic and physical builds, so you can mix Acolyte build with another build and create something akin to an Inquisitor (Magic+Healer) or Paladin (Physical+Healer), though I still wish the trait requirement weren't this harsh. Ah and as a sidenote, in vanilla game (haven't tested if it's the same in Roleplay-S too), the Judgement skill from Relic of Judgement reduces any NPC's DEF/SUR down to 0, regardless of how high their DEF/SUR are. This is an extremely good debuff that allows you and your companion to quickly chopped down the health of those NPC with super high DEF.
I haven't tested Roleplay-S that far yet so I can't really give my full thought on it for now. I'm pretty curious about those Behelits mentioned in the log. I'll look into that later.
