I adore that part of the game. It is never truly over till Lona dies. There was this one time where I got cocky, since my Lona who was pretty much max level, and I tried to just pass a bandit skill check by just Leaving cause I had decent stats for it. I did so many times... however, this time, I was not so lucky. I used up hide chance, my talk chance, and wasted my last leave chance. One thing to note is that my lona could probably beat 2 bandits in a straight up fight. But when you fail to hide and get into a fight with bandits in the tight corridors of Noer, there is no escape and you end up having to fight at least 4 to 5 bandits that are well equipped. This was indeed my fault as I didn't respect the threat of bandits, especially in Noer setting, and I didn't play it safe. I knew straight up that I would die if I fought back, this was a doom play through so death is permeant, so I quickly spammed menu button just praying that I would open it before they engage combat with me. Thankfully, I managed to open menu and I stripped out of all my gear, putting them in my inventory, and put the "KKAAYYYAH" action (the one that insta drains your stamina) on the hotkey. The moment I left the menu page, I was already surrounded and I had no escape, the only option left was to intentionally surrender to not take any HP damage. Next thing that happened was that Lona's virginity was taken, brutally raped, imprisoned and tortured again. But the bandits screwed up. Their dumbasses left half my items in the chest next to Lona, including food. And you do not want to be against a maxed level assassin Lona who can make deadly traps from thin air.
Looking back on this experience, I would have 100% died if I just tried to fight the bandits straight up, but because I surrender at that moment, I was able to survive and fight another day. And after that encounter, I pretty much always took the safe option when dealing with the bandits overmap encounter (and made sure to slaughter all the bandits for touching my Lona). And it is these small details and gameplay mechanics that really makes me appreciate it. There are so many options you can take and sometimes it is not clear what to do. But if you take the time to learn these small interactions, it makes the game so much better.

For me it's like playing Dark Souls but with porn.
About the history... Well at very first I don't cared until I see Sybaris, I said to myself “What the hell it's going here?”, and later I was exploring and searching everything to understand everything.
And about the gameplay, It's good! Compared to all the others RPG I played, this is unique and fun. For me, when I don't care about losing on the game and keep trying to archive the victory, it's a good game, you don't know how much time I spent trying to complete the first mission of the main history, and after that I keep playing, even when I needed to restart the save data (somehow, I managed to ruin the entire run, so restart was the best choice lmao).
So yeah, maybe it's obscure and grotesque, but in the end, it's a good game.

The handjob is the most deadly weapon in Lona's arsenal. One stroke from a skilled enough Lona could tear an attacker's balls off. Two strokes would deal AOE. Three strokes would clear the map

you don't see a lot of dark and grim games like this with a lot of fun survival mechanics. The story isn't overly explained, rather it dumps you right in the middle of everything. The H scenes are sparse but I appreciate the context for why they happen more than other games (where sex happens cause plot)
Lmao. Handjobs are indeed op... if your lona is like lv 40 and a dedicated succubus.
Personally, the best early/mid game load out is Assassin lona which is Saber and enhanced dagger. They are very reliable source of damage (saber ignores armor and enhanced dagger does a butt load of damage) and can be used for stealth pretty well. You just need to go through the tough personality and you will be able to 1 shot most low tier enemies with back stab even without any COM stat points.
Best way to play it is to heavily invest in SCU(stealth) and use it to stealth kill most enemies. Saber attacks should generally be never used unless you are dealing with an enemy that has a lot of armor. Back stop and Weak Point is the bread and butter and will be used 99% of times. Weak point has a very fast attack animation and deals a lot of damage as well as injure the enemy.
If you want something more Late game, Mage Lona is a good choice. However, you are going to invest a lot into WIS before mage lona becomes useful. And due to how squishy she is, you will probably need to invest in stealth as well.
All mage items has its own spot, but the most general use one is probably lightning items or fire.
They are very out dated.
It might be best to look around the threat 800~ pages and you might find some modes that work.
