I'm sorry, I'm still clueless onto how to actually edit the .act files (Adobe Color Tables) to make my own custom color palettes. Do I open them with photoshop or something? I tried opening them with Notepad++ but it opens into gibberish. I can open the .json with Notepad++ and edit which .act it should draw data from though.

I do know where I need to move the files into though to make them work now, got the moot and white one working, but I'd like customize Lona with even darker skin than moot.

Edit: Ok I think I figured it out, I managed to import the .act into Gimp (since I dont have photoshop) and I can view the palette now. I guess I just need to edit and save this then place it where it needs to be as the "New palette" to take colors from.

Edit 2: Now to just actually figure out how to save/export this back as an act. I wonder if it'll explode if I export it as something else and just rename it as .act.

so i saw there was a way to essentially disable dirt stat from growing but was wondering if i could do this for wounds as well? if so any ideas? i've tried a couple of things but with no success.

Currently, mod works only with .act files. Renaming .gpl to .act will break palette. You need to convert .gpl to .act, use this converter for it

I have no experience with GIMP, but recommend to use Photoshop, any version of it, that can work in Indexed mode (powerful color change tool, but limited .act management), Fighter Factory (Advanced Palette Manager in it) (very good .act management) or PalEdit (no preview) to change colors in .act. All palettes that in current game build is done with Photoshop CC and Fighter Factory Studio.

Edit: Thanks to Teravisor, mod can now read .txt palettes wait for update. Just save that GIMP palettes by right click with Export as > Text file. Paths is same as with .act paths in .json

Moved some code around in 2_LonaBitmapChanger.rb so you can now redefine method to add new file formats (mod files that change this must start with 3 or higher number)
And added 3_GimpTxt.rb file that reads GIMP's palette txt export (right click palette->"Export as"->"Text file...").
Maybe it'll get included in game in 4.6.0.

find a safe place to give birth, where? i've tried so many places but the baby keeps disappearing, i've tried in the forest, elise's house (i got kicked out afterward), tavern room (i bought paid the room), alleyway in a secluded area, none works. I'm out of ideas

This question has been asked so many times I am afraid you will get more than 2 full pages of results if you search this thread for "keep baby" or some variation of it.

Edit: A bit slow on the ball here, but EccmA417 made an update on subscribe star and I'm just thinking, is this perhaps Sybaris? It looks pretty big compared to Noer. Anyway, I can't wait for whats coming.. This game is great.

I wish that Fishtopia would become a bit more polished though. For instance, I would like to be able to lie about the refugees whereabouts. It is out of character for Lona (or at least my Lona) to side with a slave trader and do his bidding when she so far have rescued slaves and fought the slave traders. Perhaps it will be added in the future. One can hope.

From what I have seen from playing fiera quest which took place in Sybaris this looks exactly like the map that was used so I would say your guess is right we're finally going to be able to see Sybaris.

tho its kinda weird how my baby was human eventho the only race that "did" my Lona was fishpeople.

Really...

Just did a test. If you give birth to a Human or a Moot, the baby disappears as it acts like a extra life. You can only keep the other babies (goblin, orc kind, abomination, fish kind, etc).

You need to have enough milk for the baby. If the baby is a Human or a moot, the baby will always disappear as it acts as a extra life, you re-start the game with the same level and bank contents if you die (I am guessing it's the work of the fortune teller, judging from her dialogue when you re-spawn and if you kill her). If I had to guess, you can only keep the second+ Moot/Human baby but i'm not grinding through 2 pregnancies to check.
You get to keep goblin, orc-kind, fish-kind, deep-one, and infestation babies though.

Make sure Lona has at least 15 milk per baby (breast number should be 90 or less if you have 2 babies).
It's not too difficult to ensure. Just don't milk her titties so much. That's the only reason Lona's babies ever left in my game.

If it is Human or Moot, it escapes and you can use it as a new game+ sort of thing. If/when you die you can start as the new baby, keeping levels and stuff in the bank. Moots have advantages and disadvantages though.
Other babies (goblin, ork, fishflok, etc...) can be sold as far as I know (haven't tried it, as pregancy is a pain in the ass...)

I had to go look for myself and you're right! Notice how the gate area is totally ruined compared to Feira Quest:

The mountains have grown into the city so I guess that is under construction.. But yeah, it is Sybaris alright.

Anyone would understand I meant Lisa and not Elise since it is Lisa in the picture. I mix those names up. In my language they sound the same.

Funny thing about wang though is that it is the English equivalent for "Woff". I was confused when I did bandit camp or if it was doom farm, and the dogs line was "Wang! Wang!".

Also, is amazing to see how much as been done, not just the in the game, but there, i dont understand a pickle of what all those code lines mean or do, but sure they mead good stuff right? cheers

aw look at Lisa. you can see the subtle differences now that we have the pictures I imagine now it's going to have a much darker atmosphere I'm excited to be going back either way it's where it all started after all.
