The good

• One of few adult Unity games that run smoothly.
• Decent renders
• Alex & her instagram (the comments are actually funny).
• Good amount of choices / routes
• Clean UI

The improvable

• As a VN Long Story Short would still work better in Ren'Py (rollback, save & load times).
• Many characters are simply not attractive (uncanny / disproportional looks) or likeable - or both.
• Insufferable "don't you envy my new life?" friend (seriously, what's up with all these annoying "best friends" in adult games?)
• The writing (dialogue & story) is often awkward, juvenile or downright nonsensical and made me cringe a lot (for example: The MC and Joe haven't met for a year even though they are neighbours & bffs, "suddenly a sister", etc.).
• Occasional screen flickering when loading save files.
• Low-key Engrish with quite a few grammatical errors and typos.

Overall not a bad VN, but not a great one either.
I wished the dev had put more effort into creating attractive & likeable characters and coherent dialogue & story.
In the end the best thing about Long Story Short is the technical realisation (engine / UI), although Ren'Py would still have been the better choice.

It's a 5* game if you don't have any problems with the tags.

Long story short: Amazing game!
I don't like visual novels at all. As there is so much to read i loose my interest in the first 5 mins.

Suggestions:
1. Please make that the actual corruption levels are visible. Not like its hidden now.
2. This game has a great opportunity for sandbox/free-play, FROM this point on. Which will make it the best game ever. Once MC starts a job , makes money, tries to maintain his relationships with everyone. (I guess that was the original plan)
3. More cuckold. More bottle spinning. More parties. More high heels. More dynamic dresses. More cheating. More threesomes...

Now: why this game is so great:
1. Smart sentences.
2. Short MC answers.
3. The story is definitely taking your attention
4. Options/answers are given frequently and keeps you intrigued
5. MOST importantly - breathtaking graphics and smart clothing(Actual dresses that fit perfectly well and sexy to the models, not just piece of texture on manually adjusted polygons)

Omg! Omg! Awesome game.Very underrated (unfortunately ) . The protagonist is me, like, 14 years ago.Lots of plot twists, interesting story, dialogues, renders! Beautiful picture in general.Game worth playing.

Really, a nice game, actually. First of all, I know what is your greatest fear going into playing a non-Ren'py VN - crappy interface - but it's not the case. This game has a really nice interface with skip, log, and a convenient save system - almost equivalent to Ren'py.

Now the story. The first thing that I liked is that the characters are not complete morons. The characters are quite believable and have some depth. The story also does well to keep things interesting so it doesn't feel boring. The dialogues are also more or less realistic - they talk in a way you expect adults with fully developed brains to talk. The sexual events are formulated well enough that you can digest them.

I have one complaint though - you see the cute nerd girl on the cover of the game - Ann ? I gave this game a shot just because of her. And in the beginning, I liked her type. I was thinking, yeah, smart and pure girls like Ann are worth 100 Vannessa's (her slutty friend and your friends GF). It made sense since she seemed to be the "focal" girl of this game. But unfortunately, I saw little character buildup (other than sexual progress) on her part compared to Vanessa, who turned out to be a much more interesting character compared to Ann who seemed quite bland. As a self-proclaimed nerd myself (just kidding, I don't need to proclaim it really ), I find that quite offensive. I hope there is more depth to her character that would be revealed in the coming updates, otherwise, I would assume that the writer doesn't know how to write her type. I'm only saying this because he/she wrote Vanessa's character quite well.

Overall, it's a really good game. It's got good replayability with quite a few different branches. It has good attention to detail and maintains quality. I didn't have to think twice to give it a 5/5.

I like the storytelling narrative. Render is top theres a few short animation too. More social media appearence than other games so it was something fresh. Choices seems matters and girls are beauties.

Honestly, I'd have to say this game is one of the best made Unity games. Usually I hate Unity games cause they take a long time and the UI is weird. I don't know how much better this game would've been if it was made on Ren'py but one thing I do like about this game are the little things. First, this game has an "Instagram" where you can post comments on pictures of girls. While they don't matter, I find it funny to post the dumbest stuff possible (like posting a super-long copy pasta). Not only that but the game is essentially a Ren'py game made on Unity which combines the ease of use of Ren'py and the game engine of Unity.

This is one of my favorite games here.

Pros:

* Enjoyable characters
* Decent dialog
* Choices matter, and there is a good deal of branching of plot

Cons:
* No music
* No gallery to view previous work

Definitely recommend playing this one.

Excelent game with great potential.

The renders are really good and the characters' personalities really show through their appearences.
The strong part of this game though is the story. At first it makes you relate and care about the characters (MC and his friend). Secondly it has a good plot and the interaction with the girls is unique for each one of them. Finally choices really do matter here. I payed this game 3 times each making different choices and i was amazed of how much the story changed each time. It really rewards the player who wants to corrupt the main girl and on the other hand it is perfect for those who wish to just have the perfect romantic relationship with her, both discovering sex step by step.

Overall great game and a nice surprise for someone like me who hadn't tried it till 0.5. I can't wait to see more (especially more of the sister, ugh sorry i meant roomate)!
Also incusion of insta is a fine little extra touch that can play out both ways, good job!

tl;dr: renders look good and story+choices are fine. However, the characters sometimes don't feel real due to the way they talk.

- The story is fine, and the choices actually make a good difference.
- Most of the renders are great.
- The dialogues can feel off. The grammar and spelling are mostly fine, and it read pleasantly. However, the characters sometimes talk unrealistically.
If a character is shy, and doesn't go out often, it's okay to let them say that they don't go out often, or don't drink. But a shy person saying that they don't go out because they're shy feels weird. Also, a barman telling a customer off that they're ordering water, is rude, and weird giving that they're wanting tips.

It's one of the few games, where the use of Unity for a VN is actually okay:
-The developer clearly put some effort in making the game usable. Simple things like having right click immediately go to save, not asking for a confirmation. The interactions are quick.
- There's still improvement possible for the engine. Like allowing enter to progress text, not having to click to confirm your name, etc. Or fixing the weird thing that your saves change order every time that you go back to the game.

Ok so it is one of the best games out there, with non-liner plot and actual characters. Well done, folk. Well done. It is basically made of netori line, where you are trying t get your friend girl, but their relationships is disturbing a fuck, and dinmics becomes more and more fucked up as you go into it.

So far one of the best games I've played. First of all, technical execution is flawless. Very well made UI. Gorgeous models. And , of course, very promising story. Overall, the game is great and I hope the developer will find a support he is looking for.

I've put this game off for quite a while because the Unity tag scared me. I thought this was one of those games that had great renders but a dev that can't get a proper hold of the Unity engine to allow a smooth playing experience. I'm so happy to say this is probably farthest from that case.

This is the best running Unity adult game I have played on this site so far. The UI is fabulous and everything, everything runs so smoothly on the engine. No lag in my recollection, a vast number of save slots, extremely easy to navigate, and it even has a NTR filter to better find the saves you're looking for. Tremendous work and detail in this department. Extremely technically sound. There is no rollback, but that's hardly a negative when you can simply save and load up that save 1,2,3. Masterfully constructed game.

The renders are great to look at. Lighting is pretty, great use of DOP, it's all very appealing and it's an easy draw in. Not a lot to talk about here, it's all here to see.

The story is one of the more original ones in adult games I'd say. Meaning I don't know many games that take this angle, but it's there, and it may turn people off. You can read the overview and decide that. It's a fairly new story from my experience with adult games so far and it's being told pretty well also.

The characters are likable for the most part and the girls are attractive. You have your shy girl who wants to come out of her shell, you have your slut, your best friend, who, for once, isn't an unlikeable creep. The characters are pretty "by the numbers", but choices are presented to you where these characters can engage in their own lives (It's still your choice though). So there is plenty of replayability and that replayability will continue to expand as the updates roll in. As of now, there are a number of branches including NTR, and YES, each branch is fully within your control.

The only criticism I have here is that the main romance branch with Ann is pretty linear. It doesn't seem to matter what you do, but if you are in the "romance route" with Ann, the cover girl, and you make decisions that target a different girl, in this case, Vanessa the slut, while mostly ignoring Ann, you still end this current version being as sexually active with her as you would if you were to pursue her solely. Even if some of your actions, in her own words "turned her off", she still confesses her feelings, you still go home with her, you still play with her a bit and she still stays the night. That particular route felt a little cheapened.

Otherwise, this is a beautifully constructed game with a fine story, characters, and scenarios that should keep most interested. And again, do not let the Unity tag stop you from playing this. Everything runs incredibly smooth and looks so so good. I completely recommend this and I hope to see it grow.

I'm wary about Unity games, but this one is definitely worth it. The lack of rollback still irks me, but the game has one of the most impressive UIs for a porn game I have ever seen.

The renders are high quality and the characters and writing are believable and interesting. Also Vanessa, the nymphomaniac Latina is one of my favorite characters of recent times. They say "don't stick your dick in crazy" but it can be so much fun. Shy Ann is fine too, but her story is more the kind of traditional been there, done that "corruption of the innocent."

This is definitely a 5 star game, damn, finally a game that has the 'cheating' theme right, with excellent girls and not so complicated choices. At least every time a choice pops-up I think i know what direction it points to. And I also like the little surprises, like the Hobo or the big-guy-with-very-small dick .
And oh yeah, also no blue-balling here

Dialog makes sense and can be played over and over without getting tiresome. Women are hot. Looking forward to what comes next for this messed up crew.

My own hope for the future are....Can't wait to push Ann toward fucking everyone if given an opportunity. Getting her to trust, push her corruption and then add in some blackmail. The sweeter they start, the better the fall.

I love this game. I could say many good things, because there is little bad. Some error but nothing important that prevents me from enjoying this wonderful project.

I love renders, characters and story mode (especially Ann). Although I don't have much experience in games with NTR, I have to say that I liked it from the beginning. It's more exciting than anything else. You can choose what you want at each moment, but as they say there, there could be more immersion including more options in the dialogues.

I have to say that the DV team should think about releasing a little more continuous updates, cause I think that would help the game a lot higher in the ranking for next year.

What can I say... I love this game. It has an immersive story and renders with great image quality. Entertainment and funny.

To be honest, I'm not a Unity fan, but when I tried this game I made an exception, as long as it stays that way. Sounds, simulated internal applications such as Instagram, and an interface with a menu with a modern and attractive touch, clearly, one of the things I like most.

I can add some things, such as a little more drama to the MC, add some options during the dialogue to be able to psychologically submit/punish Ann when there is a scene like the one in the bar. For example, some "Fuck off", "leave disappointed", "how the fuck have you let her do it?, I leave" .. Leaving her in the middle of the bar crying, for letting the bartender kiss him without refusing. See? That is an option. May they not always be smiles and tolerance.That is, add some other extreme choice, that Ann understand that we're the alpha male, and so the drama would be greater, and give something to defend the MC, especially in scenes with Chris, is something that is missed kinda in games of this genre.

The developer could consider adding the a choice in which the MC punches the bartender when he kiss Ann in front of him. It's an example, not exactly that way, or at that moment, but things like that could be very interesting. The end is that it's not so automatic, or that the MC doesn't assume everything Ann does without saying a word. They could take it into account for the following updates.

There were some problems on Android, such as lag, but it doesn't detract from the game.

As for popularity, I think the F95 community should give a little more importance cuz the game deserves it, and plus leaving a vote/like costs nothing.

The game is still fairly new at this point but I'm impressed. Excellent renders, amazing UI, decent writing. Pacing is good - doesn't take too long unlike certain games on this site. Corruption and NTR fans alike will find this to be a gem.
