My first post. I've been lurking off and on for a while but recently I decided to stop putting off my internal call to make a VN. So, here I am. I am merely weeks in and I don't expect to have anything demo like until January, but I am very interested in all the different ways other developers and consumers of AVNs play, digest and share their content. I have a Patreon set up that I am posting to weekly with updates, free and public (until I have actual Patreons, when I'll need to work on actual Patreon benefits).

I am curious as to why you all play the games you do. My first attempt will be a pretty straight forward AVN with several love interests that eventually work their way down to one. If any of you would love to share your 'best in class' picks for this or what you like the best about your favorite, I'd love to hear it. I have about a thousand questions, but I'll save that for my second post. :)

Also any sage advice on how to approach development would be great. For reference i am using Ren'Py and Daz3d. The coding is fairly intuitive to me, but the 3d art is learn every hour sort of thing. I am learning so much on the fly my development cycle is pose, render, write, then pose again. As I get more confident in daz I hope I'll write first, then pose and batch render but baby steps!

Anyhow, Thanks to all :)

Welcome aboard! :)

Congrats on starting a VN for the first time and at some weeks in setting up a patreon for it already!

I wish you the best of luck and look forward to your progress and financial advancements!
