Hi there,
I'm a programmer and game developer looking for creative partner to build a game together.

I've been coding for over a decade now. Mostly in python (~11y), with experience in Godot(since its 3rd version), C++/C# (~4y), and JavaScript (~7y).
I'm comfortable with handling all the technical parts of the development, so you can focus fully on the creative side.

It doesn't matter whether you prefer 2D or 3D. I'm open to adapting the project around our combined skills.
I'd like to use Godot, but I'm flexible about the tooling and workflow.
If you prefer working with specific software (like Spine, Blender, Live2D or something else), I'll be happy to integrate it and make things work smoothly.

This is a rev-share project (equal split), once the game starts earning revenue.

What can I do
  • Programming / code (my strongest skill)
  • Game design
  • Story and dialogue writing
What I'd need help with
  • Graphics (characters, backgrounds, UI)
  • Animation (2D or 3D)
My approach
I'm active and available most of the time (when I am not stuck at my university). I enjoy steady progress and good communication.
I treat this like a proper collaboration, not a side hobby to be dropped in a week.
I'd really love it to get at least to it's 1.0.0vfull release.

I'm open-minded when it comes to themes, fetishes and kinks, as long as they don't break legal boundaries.
I'm genuinely fine exploring whatever you'd like to create, if you have a story or idea you've always wanted to bring to life.

A few ideas from my side
I've got a few rough concepts prepared. But I am equally open to developing your idea instead, as I mentioned earlier.
If you've got something you've always wanted to make, I'd love to hear about it, and help you make it real.

  1. Dystopian City (sandbox)
A stealth and hacking game, where the main character tries to survive in a morally corrupt city. Main character would have to gather "data" around the city. Sometimes pictures, sometimes video,or just some binary or written data. There would be a complex network of places in the city and in the web, where main character could profit on those. Of course, the part about acquiring the "data" would come at a risk of getting caught.
  2. Guard at a Fantasy Island (possibly a sandbox)
Something inspired by Papers, Please, but set up on a an island in a fantasy world. You play as a guard performing "body searches" on incoming travelers, uncovering contraband, secrets and more.
  3. Isekai: Reclaiming the Lost Lands (also likely a sandbox)
A survival/exploration game where the protagonist is sent to a cursed world and must slowly terraform/save it. As the lands become more habitable, new zones, creatures and NPCs would get available. Some of them would be friendly, some not.
  4. Your idea here
Seriously, if you already have something you've been dreaming of making, I'd love to jump in and help build it from scratch.
Contact
  • Here via DMs (I am new to the website, but I believe that there is such a functionality)
  • Discord: morswin556
I use other means of communication, but it's most likely that you'll catch me through those listed above.

I hope this isn't against any rules.
I just want to be able to reply in DMs.

What Tone would you prefer? In the sense of Action,Horror,Comedy,Adventure, etc Lighthearted or Serious or the golden middle?

What Setting? or what Settings you like more or like least?
Normal Reality
Apocalypse
Post Apocalypse
Fantasy
Utopia
Dystopia
Sci-fi

What kind of gameplay would you be capable of doing?
Something like Treasures of Nadia? Or Peaseant's Quest? or what normal stuff Pokemon?(i don't plan on something like it ) or Stardew Valley or Rimworld (with these to i don't mean scale but optics and the easy gameplay parts not the whole thing)
Pixelart,Top down,Iso Perspective.

I am capable of doing 3d Characters in Daz Studio.Would like to know if its enough to have them as pics that emote (Like treasures of Nadia) and then some scenes or not.

Hi,
I would rather not use AI. Neither for art nor for code.
Question also not if it's a renderd 3d picture that then moves because of ai?
Dabbles a tiny bit with trying it with help because its so much faster than animating in Daz.

Hi, I'm also a developer and artist. I was going to ask a similar question on this site because I'm looking for a partner to develop a game. I personally create my art mixing 3D and 2D, using Daz and Blender, and I do an overpainting during rendering to give it my 2D style. This speeds up the process considerably. I've done both 3D and 2D animations; in 2D, I have more experience with pixel art.

Regarding the game, I don't have any ready-made ideas, so we can start from yours.

About the tone, I am open for anything really.

From development point of view, I like each of those settings. The plot would be more important in my opinion.

What gameplay you ask? I didn't play those 2 first you mentioned, so I cannot tell. I would be able to create something like pokemon. Stardew Valley and Rimworld I'd like to say that are also in my skill reach, but we would have to name and define each mechanic that tere is to be implemented.

I am open for any type of art style, I like experimenting. 2D isslightly easier to implement, because of the lasking 3rd dimention. But I have experience with 3d as well.

As I mentioned, I don't know that game. If this is some Visual Novel.. it all depends on what feeling are we aiming for. If you want just a scene where 2 characters talk with each other in VN style, prerenders are just fine. I can also make those 3d modelsget rendered and animated live and place them next to the speach textboxes, orwe could make it happen completely in the 3d space.

I don't understand the last question, can you rephrase it?

Sure, if you want to try planning out then making some game with me, please hit me upon Discord. As I mentioned, my nickname there is morswin556.

If you don't use it, then please tell me, what method of contact do you prefer?

it's 2d so easy to implemant

The picture is done in 3d softwear rendered and turned to pictures videos etc

Artstyle is daz studio renders like Being a Dik etc done often in Renpy

they are Png,jpeg, etc as what format is best in engine that is used and also because of size

About the games

Both games are played from Isometric perspective

https://f95zone.to/threads/peasants-quest-v3-81-tinkerer.1717 don't needed to play with weird stuff

Peasant's Quest is made in Rpg Maker or something like that it's the Main character running around getting and fufilling Quests (either money or items or sex as the rewards).
It has a menu with standard stuff (save load options quests etc)
Menu has also inventory and stats and which companion is in group and a screen to have stats of Love intrests (how many hearts how many children they have with Mc).
Mc can gather ressourses(mushrooms, eggs, potatos, herbs, etc) and plunder from defeated enemies
Mc is controlable
Most quest are lineare but some can be failed which leads to different outcomes or can be played more good or evil.
When story or Sex scenes happen it switches to classic Visual Novel optic like Renders(Png,jpeg, etc) with text box and decisions.

https://f95zone.to/threads/treasure-of-nadia-v1-0117-nlt-media.38582

treasures of nadia
Probably also Rpg Maker
Mc is controlable
Menu yada yada
Has a tip function if you get stuck helps most of the times
Mc can find and later make tools
treasures with metal sensor
Story is linear no choices
When Mc is talking to characters the characters that talk are seen and emote according to what is talked about (they are Png,Jpeg, etc standing beside the textbox)

here how that looks daz renders look like

Goddess in a projekt of mine

Blocks of new york

More cartoonish faces and character are also possible

Lastly let me rephrase the ai video question

it's like this you have a picture like these but in sex scene and then the ai can make them move wich is a time saver and makes stuff for people that don't have multipal working pc's that are time power and money consuming(animations) without animation it's a different story but people nowadays demand them and to stand out either story and characters are great or it has many scenes

Here is someone that uses this technique

What AI are you using? How long is the animation? Is it possible to use it for free, albeit with limitations?

So, what you're showing me looks interesting. How about trying to make some demo project, so we can see if we can collaborate/work together well. If this turns out good, I'd gladly see it get developed to a full release, or more if it gains some following. Otherwise we get an entry to portfolio and haven't lost that much time/effort.

Anyway, I'd be interested in that character art style that doesn't look realistic. I see potential there.

Can you contact me in via DM (preferably on discord)?
Or please let me know how can I DM you.

I did not play to much around with it yet but the link i gave at the end of last post talks about it more,it's confyui and wan 2.
I think both are free.
