I'm currently looking for a game with a capture-fighting mechanic. A bad way to describe it would be like if Pokemon was a traditional JRPG where you could capture your enemies and mind break them into questionless obedience.

Overwhored fits thematically, though all the mindbreaking is done with H-scenes rather than gameplay.
iirc you torture/seduce enemies after capture in this.

In Strive for Power you capture girls to make them into your slaves. They'll even fight alongside you with enough persuasion. You might want to consider Harem Collector, though I didn't play much of this game.

This is definitely starting you 5/6ths of the way as "trainer" games pretty much ALL do everything you describe in a way, but look close before you play...
