The game is a 3DCG Fantasy Visual Novel.
I'm not sure if it's Honey Select girls, but it most likely is. The game is set in a medieval setting, one of the things that made this game memorable to me was that it had deaths and is in the middle of a war. I'm not sure if one of the deaths was caused by a betrayal but it most likely is.
I don't have much other details, but I do remember betrayal and it's a great game.
Last I checked this game is ongoing a year or so ago.
It's also very related to some sort of race wars?
