I once play a game, but can't remember the title. The mc is a soldier on a mission but the mission failed and he was declared mia (or kia, can't remember about that part). He was saved by tribal woman and help him recovered from injury he sustain during that mission. After that he go back to the city trying to reunite with his family and friends. Another thing that I can remember, another character are his mom, his commanding officer, and his friend/partner during the mission
