Looking for good music for my game

So I have been searching for good music for the game I am working on. I found a lot of good copyright-free music. But I don't know how to choose them. Maybe it is because I have poor taste in music. So does anybody know the list of the most popular music used in Ren'py games? I am hoping I will get inspiration after combing through them.

Don't go with what other devs are using in their games. Go with what fits the scenes/events/etc. in your game. What works for BaD may not work for your own.

Yeah I agree with MissFortune.
If you have a nightclub scene you probably want some EDM. On a summers day something light. While during emotional scenes you might support the emotion with the music. (think of the scary music used in horror movies to support the horror.)

True, I agree with that. As I said, I am looking for ideas, not going to copy paste.
Well, if you're looking for some games that have some notoriety for their music, then I'd look at Being a Dik, Summer's Gone/Where it All Began, and Leap of Faith. The caveat here being that all are using expensive paid ($2500 USD) and/or contracted music. Something to be aware of is that some creators and platforms don't allow their music to be used in pornographic material. Just something to be aware of while you're looking for music. :)

That said, I'm not aware of too many AVNs/games that are known for their music using free/CC0 music.

I've gotten a couple compliments on Move The Chains for its music selection, which is largely made up of CC by 3.0 and 4.0 via FreeMusicArchive. But even then, if all goes well with a Steam release, I'm eventually going to go with Universal Production Music ($2500, though I've heard $5000 on the high end.). Though I'm looking at Storyblocks as a stopgap until then.

I am on a similar boat, if the game does well, I am planning to go the paid route as well. As for now, I will browse FreeMusicArchive to see if there are any suitable ones!

a) have a keyboard (music) and compose your very own score for your game.
b) look at something like Pixabay where there are free scores for every occasion.

Pixabay doesn't allow adult content with their new license.
Well, how would they know. Sure, they can. It's like Acdsee which has a similar license. I always wondered why i bought a license just to being told i can't look at ladies.
But yes, bummer. There are for sure some other open sources. I know they had several license models.
The other source i liked but what was used in at least one game here is Purple -Planet. (i did not check the license)
Or,
