The title says it all but I want to list some games that I personally enjoy so anyone can use them to better recommend me a game. Could be similar or could not.
You can suggest anything I will check it out for the most part although.
Not looking for visual novels, I personally enjoy gameplay over scenes...
I do enjoy RPG's quite a bit.
Warrior Maiden Lecia and the lost fortress (8/10)

I enjoyed this game but it did seem a bit too rushed at the end. thought there was gonna be more content then there was, not to say it didn't have a lot of content, it just wrapped up quick.
combat was pretty fun and the scenes were good.

This game is great in my opinion. Loved the combat, the mechanics, the story wasn't too bad. The scenes were great and I even did the challenge runs.
I loved the title mechanic and how you could get passive/active buffs for doing certain things. The difficulty felt rewarding for me and I enjoyed it thoroughly.
Star Knightess Aura (10/10)

Another 10/10 for me, I loved the story, mechanics. the whole day system was fantastic. It was engaging and challenging for me and I played it a few times trying different strategies. I loved the difficulty of the game (Pure run) and I have never played anything like it in regards to its mechanics. Can be similar to Karryn's Prison which might be the reason I like it so much. The content seemed endless the first time I played it.
Renryuu Ascension (6/10)

This game wasn't bad and the combat was alright, just had a hard time finding out what to do, where to go. Companions are locked behind quests that have quest prerequisites, same thing with side characters. It was pretty fun and enjoyable with the whole map management thing, but I don't like needing a guide to play a game.
I could have just been bad but I for sure got lost a couple of times and had to look up what to do next.
Some positives, I loved the team building and skill trees, it was fun having all that diversity in my team comps. The story was actually pretty well done in my opinion, although it wasn't finished at least when I played it. The combat was like most turn based rpg's but it was not bad. The npcs had personality for the most part.

These games I clumped together because they are basically the same thing. Not too much to write about (sorry for writing so much earlier)
I liked the whole character creation, the class system felt unique with abilities being tied to certain classes. It wasn't that bad. It was just a lot of reading which is fine, but the combat and gameplay were out shadowed by how much scenes, writing, dialogue there are. It was still enjoyable overall.
