Only methods I know of are playing without the images, or downloading the images yourself and alter the links within the html to point to local directories.
There isn't an offline version of LiL, but there is an offline version of Laminate Calling on the GlossandGlamour's discord.
What other games do you like? I kinda enjoyed this but I put up with the laminate... If you have any recs that would be great.
Lilitales is one of my favorites, the mod Whore Life from Girl life is good, and at least one of the "Barony Sengia" games has a slave-mode after you are captured enough. That's all I can think of off the top of my head.
You can avoid playing in a gimp suit for most of it in favor of something like a secretary's dress provided your goal is to escape the planet but the actual material will still be latex until the end of that route where you can switch in ordinary clothes but only right before leaving the space elevator proper, iirc. Shame to hear about that data loss for the latest version of the game. The Isabella, Nun and Daemon paths make it mandatory to continue, and the only other major one that doesn't is if you pick the Academy route, some endings aside.
Yes, Gloss is still working on this as well as two other games. I believe the problem is that there was a major hard drive catastrophe and all of Gloss's notes and writings were lost. Gloss does have a great Discord page which will keep you up to date. plus a load of other info. It can be found here
