HTML - Lost in Laminate [v11.0c] [GlossandGlamour]

Lost in Laminate is well-writen and extremely sexy! The game focuses on BDSM and latex, and the gameplay (as little as there is) is mainly there to mvoe you from scene to scene in an effective manner. It's not too difficult to access content and conversations that you want, which makes replayability very high. There isn't tons of art, but it all fits quite well in with the game and the story.

Also the world is surprisingly deep and detailed, a lot more than I was expecting going in! All-in-all a must-play for fans of BDSM. I do wish there was a little gentler bondage content, but hey that might just be me.

Super underrated. Has a shocking amount of depth to it. Any one storyline can keep you busy for a few hours, and there are a lot of branching narratives that each have a pretty different experience. Good replayability, and excellent storytelling.

I loved this story. I played through it once-ish. Went back to a choice after my first ending and played through another option. Getting endings 27 and 30. From this playthrough I feel like the BDSM of it is well portrayed for the story and world that is being presented.

Not as something the MC is really forced into or blackmailed into, but fully their choice in the matter. Though keep in mind I only got two endings. It does remind me a lot of Transfigure with it's gameplay structure. In that almost every choice has different branching possibilities. So much that you'll almost need to keep going back and making different choices to see all the different story lines.

Though this does make some storylines rather short too. I would have really liked to see my MC's time as a slave explored more to see the stages of progression, but that doesn't take too much enjoyment away from the experience that I had.

I give it five stars and totally recommend this game for anyone interested in the BDSM genre.

An engaging writing style that is unapologetic in the best ways possible. It owns its core premise as a sci-fi that revolves around BDSM latex, building the rules of its world and exploring them. The fetish of latex bondage, dominance, and submission are not even aspects that I enjoy personally, exploring the world, corruptive exposure, and sensual sequences all made the story a seriously steamy endevour.
I had encountered this previously and passed it up due to various factors, mainly because its core premise don't touch on many of my tastes other than sci-fi. It's come a long way since then. The branches are extraordinarily well written for the genre. Of particular note, the pacing of the vignettes is impeccable. Where many text-based games can result in grindy systems of stats, empty choices, hanging chads, Laminate story branches are fully fleshed out. There aren't many tasks to be accomplished, but they can be explored along multiple branched avenues that are fleshed out to reflect a surprising array of smaller choices.
This is a surprisingly engrossing adventure that knows what it is and sticks with it, presenting what seems to be the most alluring aspects of its fetish, packed with quality, maintains an engaging pace, and doesn't overstay its welcome.

Amazing game, the story focus is the best part about HTML games, and this one truely delivers.

Lacks some images, like 1 for the lead would be nice, but I understand, that might not be financially feasible.

One of the better written text games, with a dev that continues to add more content and expand story lines on each release. A great world building effort as well. I would recommend playing this if you enjoy the premise!

I really enjoyed exploring the world that's been created in Lost in Laminate, even though several parts aren't normally what I go in for. I've never been particularly partial to latex nor do I play many text based games, though after spending many hours playing through every possible path and permutation I can see why it's got such a superb score on this site.

Being a turbo nerd myself who quickly gets engrossed in the details and lore tidbits, the writing and story offers just enough information to allow for imagination without bogging the player down with overwhelming technical exposition (even though I'd personally like that). I eventually turned to the Discord to see if my curiosity regarding various parts of the world of Torei could be satiated and was throughly surprised and pleased to see that even a small wiki exists that allows for more concise readings on some topics.

As a game it also does very well with player freedom, especially considering the limitations of writing branching paths in a entertaining manner. I found that few paths/endings (if any) reuse set pieces, scenes, or devices unless they are specifically telling another possible perspective of that particular route. Whether that's due to a desire to keep things as fresh as possible and tell new events or simply how things worked out as they were written, I must admit that I wouldn't mind if certain scenarios made a comeback or were expanded upon as the game is developed further.

If you're into choose your own adventure type games and have an interest in slavery, bdsm or latex I'd be pretty surprised if you don't enjoy what there is to offer in Lost in Laminate

This is my first review and let it be known I'm not a fan of HTML or text based games but this one is phenomenal.

It's not overbearing with text it's very concise with it's vivid descriptions especially with the paths you can take being very fleshed out. It's only on v.07 but there's a whole lot of depravity loved every minute.

Its a really great game that i love to play and see how it progresses. The community is also great to interact with they are very welcoming and friendly. The game offers plenty of choices to make along with tons of different endings all of which are different.

A very thorough game. I like that it has its own well developed world. Also the theme is rather rare and the one that I like. Furthermore, I like that the game has support, the new branches are still being added to the game.

I normally skip most CYOA (very story-centric) games, because they promise a great deal of freedom but due to limited resources they understandably tend to be a mostly linear narrative with one or two major decisions and early endings along the way. It's fine if you like that, but they never really engage me.

Lost in Laminate, incredibly, actually fully delivers on the promise of a CYOA game. The player is offered tons of choices, some small, some large, all meaningful to the experience. Making progress isn't always easy or straightforward. Endings don't just play out in a few paragraphs, they come with additional branching choices, some have sub areas, full of well-written exposition and dialogue.

Latex isn't my thing but the writing sells the whole latex/bdsm experience quite well, especially the allure and the terror of not being in control of your body. I wish there was a bit more "conventional" sexual interaction involving the protagonist and other people to compliment the bdsm, however.

The cherry on top: There's legit worldbuilding too with pervasive customs and slang which makes sense... Great stuff.

This game surprised the hell out of me. I wasn't expecting to love it, but love it I did.
The writing is spectacular and the story is actually rather good. It's mostly text with a picture on the page. If you don't like reading I'd prolly stay away from it, but if you don't mind all the text and are even remotely interested in the genre, this is a great game.

The game is great, the amount of choices and multiple endings. It's how it should be done. Choice-based games are the best, you can make something out of your character and not simply following a pre-decided story.

Absolutely massive game that is worth playing at least once.

I like text games. But the most 'down' thing for me in the majority of those text games is heavy usage of real porn images combined with the total inconsistency of models and absolute randomness which totally kills any immersion for me. In this game there are not many images. Which is surprisingly good in this case, because I can totally use my imagination and it is not ruined by some ugly fat porn model and a huge dick pumping a cunt on the whole screen. "Really?" I can't imagine some random dick fucking some random cunt so I need a picture of it to remind me how it looks like??..

The story itself rather captivating, though I would like to see some more "progress" of the gradual enslavement and corruption. Currently the game lacks a bit in this aspect. But the game is definitely worth a try for those people who "read text" in porn games and not just skip to fap to pictures.

I've only played one time, but that one time was amazing! The writing quality in this is astounding and hot. For a game like this to exist for months and me not knowing is the highest form of shame. This is going straight to my watch list, and I can't wait for more!
