Looks like the windows build of this game can be ran alright-ish on Linux - the trickiest part was letting the live2d work, which required using rpgmakermlinux-cicpoffs.

I know Patreon is a shitty place, but AI art is not mandatory there. A number of 3d games have Patreon accounts too. Like when people complained about Breeders of the Nephelym development speed designed to milk furries for their money.
Also, drawing anime-style is not that hard. You just have to let go of Western hatred of beauty that makes you draw everybody as a Simpson.
