VN - Ren'Py - Completed - Love in the Crimson Void [Final] [JellyFluff Games]

This is a short and cute kinetic visual novel with only the main character and the love interest. This is a sci-fi visual novel where the whole entire story takes place on the MC's personal ship. He is a smuggler and the only love interest is a quirky, nomadic stowaway. If there's one thing unique about this porn game, it's the fact that the love interest doesn't conform to the "waifu" stereotype of having a near perfect personality and that their flaws are more of positives than real flaws that people have. The love interest is a truly annoying character who stays that way the entire game so either you grow to like her rambling quirkiness as it's meant to be humorous or you find her annoying and turn the game off. For me, because the game is short, none of the characters overstay their welcome. There are only a few sex scenes and I found them mostly funny due to the awkwardness of the main love interest.

Nice story, decent CGI, there were only 6, but it's ok for this type of game.
The story wasn't bad. Overall a nice VN to read in less than an hour.

Luna was a bit annoying at the start but that's what the author was going for, so, congratulations on his success.

This was so bad it was actually disturbing. The MC is sooo useless, it's infuriating. 98% of the game goes back and forth between him thinking about how annoying the girl is and considering violence, then reassuring her and telling her how great she is. Get some counseling or something.

It is a pretty cute novel and you can try the author worked hard to create a quirky but somehow endearing character. The way she trips over her own words as she wants to yell at the MC she loves him, but also wants to keep it quiet because she doesnt want to be a bother is cute. The graphics are clean, if a bit boring. I guess the only noticable thing about her is that she has rather small breasts.

That said, I did have some problems with the game:
-the font is terrible, it seems like everything is IN ALL CAPS AND EVERYONE IS YELLING AT EACHOTHER
-the girl seems to be incapable and annoying, but at the same time she can make the food dispenser work magic, type up super code that shakes off the police, and perfectly navigate an astroid field? I can imagine she somehow picked up the first thing, but she somehow can do everything. Why wouldnt the MC be better at shaking off the police (hes a smuggler) or flying the ship (hes an experienced captain)?
-the pace is all over the place. They go from having sex for the first time to CODE RED to assfucking. And somehow when the guy first talks about anal shes all hyped for it, but then seconds later she seems to be rather opposed to it and says its dirty. The spacetravel takes weeks, so why not use that to give them more time between sex and make it less like a sex bucketlist speedrun?

Very short kinetic novel with 5 sex scenes iirc. Decent/ok-ish graphics, but the overall story and the characters are poorly written from a creative point of view (no issues with grammar or spelling) to the point where I started skipping halfway through just to see the end and to be done with it.

I'm not finished yet but this story is charming as hell so far. Luna is just so adorably annoying couple with a nearly insane desire to please. You just want to take her in and protect her.

Images are done well if a bit simply. The ship looks far more clean star trek than smuggler firefly which undoes the immersion slightly. Sometimes the facial expressions don't quite match the tone of the conversation but the story(so far) is fun and the characters are developing nicely.
