Hello! And Welcome to your future in lewd game development.
I'm currently developing a 2d rpg/visual-novel, and I will be recruiting for team members along the way. I plan on crowdfunding the project. I'm currently the sole programmer, and dev.
I have a working prototype, and I am working on a playable demo. See pictures below. Contains rough and mismatched art assets! This is where you come in.
Project:
-Working Title: Love O'vr Lust
Developer:
- Loveolust - Programmer/Designer,
Looking for:
- 2d Artist for Characters & backgrounds
-2d Artist for Gui/Additional Art(Future)
- Writer(Future)
- Marketer(Future)
Employment Type:
- Revenue Share
-profits split equally among initial team members
I plan on reinvesting half of my earnings back into the game.
The harder we work, the more we get paid. Hopefully, we can afford to get a real marketer down the line.
Work commitment:
- Max of 20hrs/wk once the project takes off, lax environment as long as the work gets done
-Responsibilities as a team member:
I don't expect a 40 hour work week. You're free to work as long or as short as needed as long as the work gets done.
You are expected to be in communication. Communication is vital to a team.
If you cant meet a deadline or request or whatever just let the team know AHEAD of time.
I'm open to all ideas that don't radically change the game or create an unrealistic work load.
I don't want sob stories as to why you haven't gotten any work done. You're free to work at your own pace. I want realistic projections. If something is going to take a week, then it takes a week. If it goes over, that's fine. If it never gets done, we have a problem. Slackers and mooches will get cut.

Current Status:
I have a working prototype, and I am working on a playable demo.
The game is made in a full featured engine. This is not a ren'py or rpgm game.
Thus, the only feature limitations are my coding ability, and work ethic.
Who/What Do I need:
Artists and Writers, as you know art and dialogue is the lifeblood of videogames.
I'm currently recruiting for one artist to primarily work on sprites & backgrounds.
The goal is to get enough artwork for the short quest chain playable demo.
A demo will be used to attract paying users.
I will bring in one artist, then one writer. Other roles can apply for the future.
-First Artist Responsibilities:
You will be the first partner. You will be the Artistic Team Lead.
You are responsible for providing artwork such as character sprites & backgrounds.
You need to be able to draw human, furry, or monster characters.
I don't expect all 3, however that would be a bonus.
The full game will require all 3, and we will bring in more artists to fill in the gaps.
As Art team lead, you are in control of the overall art direction, recruiting and managing other artists.
You will retain rights to any artwork you create, with the exception that all artwork rights will extend to the game, and this game soley.
Meaning, the artwork can be used for this game but not sequels without renegotiated rights, etc
As stated eventually you will need to find other artists to work on things like gui, minor animations, etc.
I don't expect you to make everything. The focus is characters/backgrounds. Gui and other things will have to go to the wayside atm.
-Application:
If you're interested please fill out this google form with your info and answers. I'll try and reach out. I'm ONLY looking for a single artist to start, but others are welcome to submit for future development, as the team will grow rapidly as we take off.

Goals:
- A Quality Finished Project
- I don't want to stretch this out or "milk it for $$$" as is too common. Nor do I want to rush and create a quick cash grab.

- Gather enough funds for team members to fund their own indie projects when they leave. This is a stepping stone for your future.
- A fun and creative environment
- Its porn everybody lmao! Keeping it light and lewd.
- Attitude
- Our success is guaranteed. I want high spirited positive individuals. Scammers, naysayers, crazies, and doomers need not reply.
- Mass-Appeal
- I want to cater to a wide market, namely the human, monster and furry markets. Both Straight and gay.
- This will bring in more money, market presence, and creative opportunities. Players will be able to choose what content they want.
Thematic Features:
- Human, Monster, and Furry characters
- Fantasy medieval setting
- Lewd Spell outbreak
- A story with a set ending

- Simple enough to be engaging without being a development mess
- Questing
