idk you can always check the video setting in the game and what exacly is set there.
so how do you get the good ending? im assuming you get all the emeralds, but i cant find the one in the 7th stage
7th Chaos Emerald is located in pit, you need to hold the down button when you fall into it.
I just need to confirm something, is the of website still good or is it bad with virus because I’m hearing rumors and I just need to make sure form others so I can download the main game?

I think there should be a tag that specifies that there will be no more updates, because it says "completed" but in what sense?, in the sense that there will be no more updates? Or in the sense that the base game is finished but they will continue adding updates to fix bugs, polish some mechanics or graphics or even add more content directly? Unless you read the comments (which in some games can reach page 1000) it is impossible to know what the creator means by putting the tag "completed", I feel that it is this confusion that causes these types of questions.

from what a remember years ago, one of the developers has a ugly fight with the creator and slowly thing start to die out. but i think it didnt die because of that.
yes its on version 7.8, until the start stage of the haunted map there are pretty good content but after that start to have some performances issues and template scenes.
If good you mean...
1): Alive? More like on life support, dunno where Zeta and co. are finding the money to keep the website up, but yeah.
2): In development? Unlikely. And if it is, it is at a glacial pace.
3): Functional? Yes.
4): Complete? No.
5): Of quality? Eh, mileage may vary.

I always wondered why did the zeta team remove zu from the original game? I remember her being a character in the game then out of nowhere she was removed.
