Warning Huge Ridiculous Grindfest.

I gave this game a shot initially because I was intrigued by touted diversity and breadth of the characters. After 100+ hours (probably much more I don’t track playtime) this game while having some good bits has some MASSIVE problems… the in game ”quest” guide is unclear, misleading, or just useless and directs you to dead ends or situations that are almost impossible catch …

I recognize that people love for their “choices to have impact” but when the only impact is for you to be locked out of content …it’s an exercise in masochism.

Miniami, Lavish, Samantha, and Lexi chains all get borked by unknown switches that get flipped by … ???. Who knows??? events get put on pause by X character in X stage but then that character is nowhere to be found and you try and track them down and they respond “I think I’m lost” … while funny it’s distinctively unhelpful.

Perfect example … you speak with Lexi and she tells you how her trailer burnt down … so immediately you go talk with the other girls in your home harem and get their ok for Lexi to move in … get to the stage of the quest where it says invite Lexi to stay and you go talk to her but she won’t accept the invitation.

So much going in circles and running into invisible quest conditions(bugs)

save yourself … avoid this title unless you enjoy walls of text and being locked out of content because you didn’t grind in exactly the right method as dictated by the encyclopedia of the wiki.

Alright, I've played this game for a while and ready to write my review. Let's first go with the cons.

Cons:
The grinds - Especially money. Money relates with a lot of events you can do in this game. Such as a seasonal event(car-summer), or story event(Spoiler character), or some trigger to open some side events which has the hottest cgs in the whole game. The grind gets better later, but it feels really awful when you miss or fail an event just because you didn't had enough money. That's life, huh? But it can feel too cruel. I wonder if there can be a bank that you can get a loan, and pay it every week or month.
Seasonal events - Charming, but it gets really annoying when you can't progress with some of your favorite characters. Such as, going to the water park date. You gotta wait a year to progress more with that character.
The lags - Yeah, this really needs to get fixed.
The cg illustrations are not by the same artists - Which kinda breaks the game experience. Some girls you date can be ugly at the bedroom, some are actually more prettier.

Pros:
The game is not easy - Which I think, is charming. Some characters can leave permanently becuase you did a wrong stuff. And I really loved that part. It's not just about brainless 'choosing the right answer', but what you do matters in this game. And there are consequences. Whether it is for the better, or the worse.
The characters are mostly fun - Such as Morgan. Her fashion and dialogues all changes depended on her 'masculine' trait. One character can lead you to game over. I like this. And as a text game, I can see the dev really made some effort to make some fun dialogues. The oldest character (such as Bree) and the newest character (like Camilla) have all fun dialogues.
The dev has a great work ethic - This is the main reason I gave this game five stars. The game itself is actually a 3 and a half game. But as a game that you pay monthly, the dev always comes up with something every month. That is a great work ethic that you cannot find in other game developers. So what you pay monthly results into a monthly updated content. Of course, the update might not be something that you want. However there is always something, and the dev always tries to make something new. Which I think, is great. And I think the guy is having fun himself too.

This is my personal stuff. Even though there's a bunch of girls in this game, there are still other teaser characters that deserve their own storyline.

bit grindy, but i love how much content this game have. + constant/regular updates keep me invest in this game. Wiki is super helpful but of course there is difficult things to understand, there are bugs of course but nothing game breaking (at least i don't have occur any). I can't wait to this been complete and then i can have full and complete game on Steam.

Interesting game but definately has some flaws

Pros

• Artwork is nice and models are interesting
• Immersive Pregnancy
• plenty of action with models

Cons

• Interface is really laggy and rollback is a pain (if it works)
• The story is overall good but very convoluted. You almost have to read the entire walkthrough and the discussion here to properly plan out the game you want play. Ie Samantha Path if you want to keep her in game and be okay with other girls you have to go down the revenge path but if you dont know that and go down Path A she will leave unless you agree to be faithful.
• Needs animations

Buggy mess of a game. I remember playing this in the past and it actually being better than now for multiple reasons.
1. The lag is UNBEARABLE, you spend half the time playing this game waiting for your destination to load, no exageration. How do you even manage to get a renpy game to be this laggy?
2. Non-preventable NTR (even though in genre it says it is).
3. You'd need to plan for an hour to know what to do when to not close any routes while playing this game, which is kinda dumb for being a sandbox game.
4. Absolute buggy mess, while playing the female protagonist everything just fell apart in seconds. I suppose male protagonist is better in that aspect although I wouldn't trust it.
5. Game is grindy and slow as hell. With that I don't mean there is "too much buildup" or something, it's just literally repeating the same stuff over and over again (not something like new scenes or events) to raise points. Boring and a pain in the ass.

Main reason I give 2 stars instead of 1 is because of what it once was, not because of what it is, sadly enough.

I don't understand why so many people support this game. There is no animation at all. I can only say that there are other games that are more suitable for support.
It's just a boring sandbox game. Don't waste your time.

well here is my two cents , The game on the surface looks great lots of girls all have content. Although i don't think the energy/ food/enjoyment etc mechanics add anything to the game.

So why did i give it 3 stars? it looks great on the surface but when you look beyond that you notice it's only knee deep. There is not enough depth to the characters, there are a few events for each and then you pretty much move on to the next one. If you like that that's fine and you will enjoy the game , but for me it makes the game just feel shallow .

• Overall the art quality is good.
• Some face expression seem little bit buggy (Sasha angry expression maybe).

Performance

• Average to good (4.5).
• it seems bit laggy when interact with the UI & map (idk why).

Game Feature

• Pregnancy system is great (has endless & immersive option).
• Hint system is understandable.

Here suggestion for Dev from me:-

• Immersive pregnancy need some adjustment option, 60 Days seem very long. Need some game mechanic where we know when the girl will give birth. Having childbirth scene also is great idea.
• Breast Milk and also Adult Breastfeeding scene
• Breeding due to Immersive Pregnancy
• Sex animation will be great idea but it will affect the game performance.
• Mike grope girl on Cinema scene when on date
• [IT JUST SUGGESTION] Need new NTR system that will build up to be Bad Ending. NTR will not trigger until player trigger it AND at the same time player can get out from NTR if player trigger it and vice versa. The girls also can get NTR Pregnancy (very near to Bad Ending).

I could say a lot about this game, I could talk about it's freedom and variety. I could talk about its depth and how it somehow encompasses a complete sexual identity. Its use of tropes for humor, and how it builds upon tropes to elevate the gameplay experience. I could say a lot about this game. I'd rather just say that this game, which hides nothing behind paywalls, makes real updates that includes real, high quality content and offers one of the best harem/dating sim experiences in human existence, I bought this game at full price on steam and I would highly urge all those who value high quality adult content to do the same if you are able. At least do yourself a favor and play the game. And leave a 5 star review. It honestly makes me sad to see a genuinely great game like this with only 3.6 stars. Do the right thing people.

Fantastic art with diverse characters and a full world to explore! Yes, it's not the best story or gameplay but the uniqueness and sheer amount of variety and content makes this a very enjoyable experience for me. Loving it. I hope they continue to build on it and create more content.

Love and Sex: Second Base v22.4.0d

This game used to be one of the best. A lovable cast, simple enough systems to get each event and the in-game guide was sufficient enough to get you there.

Now? Better have a second monitor with the wiki open or you'll unintentionally lock yourself out of something you won't know about until hours later. The game has become needlessly complicated for such a simple concept. All you need to do is look at how to get Emma to see exactly the problem with the game in its current state

Oh, and don't worry about your saves. Each update slows them down more and more so you'll eventually have to restart and go through the grind again. And there is a grind, even with cheats.

The art, while inconsistent at times, is likable. Morgan is my favorite. Some of the changes like Kleio's redraw are questionable, but it's a subjective change that you may or may not like.

The biggest hurdle this game has is bugs. As mentioned before, this game gets SLOW. I have a good PC, it's not my hardware. but this game can have moments where it'll take three full seconds of waiting before whatever you click gets registered. That's if you're lucky and the option you clicked actually opens up like it's supposed to. Some events are straight up bugged and it takes a long time for them to be fixed.

The dev(s) do update consistently, which is nice but they seriously need to chill with adding content and spend some time doing some well needed maintenance behind the scenes.

I can't say anything about the voice work since I play with the game volume off.

I really want to keep liking this game but as the time goes on, it gets harder to justify the headache while having to slog through the wiki to make sure I didn't cancel two LI storylines with a simple date.

The game has dissapointed me in many days which i regret the time i have spent so I could have written this review. And none of these points of my dissapointment is about the graphics and such but rather the entire game premise, mechanics and actual gameplay.

Firstly the stats are buggy and the 15 improved maxed stats doesn't even work and dealing with your needs is a constant frustration as it actually blocks story related quest scenes and even make you fail a date cause your spesific need is 1 point lower than it should be.

The spesific requirements for relationship progression is tedious and makes it feel less like a sandbox simulation and more like mini visual novel stories like a galery player. Even though maybe it might get much more flexible late game, the path to it just makes is not worth the effort and time wasted in the game.

Although a life sim, not much personalization is there like the most basic skin and hair colors or like other physical properties.

Rising stats is a ver important part of the game but also the cost and the need of money via work doesn't go hand hin hand much slower one other down but also stats rising after a while has no purpose as in it caps at 100.

The fact that you have to wait alot just makes it really boring like have to wait for a week for an event or couple hours for a person.

Overal just too tedious and time wasting to actually have a good time.

The game would be 80-90% percent shorter if there was just events you play, it is that tedious indeed.

I am very torn on this game.
Positive:
Varied, voiced, cute, likable LIs

Negative:
If you don't play with a walkthrough, you will experience NTR. Strictly speaking it's avoidable, but not if you play without direction like a speedrunner. Oh yeah, the game also doesn't tell you how to avoid it.

If you choose the "I don't want it" options, you will not see the images but still get detailed descriptions of how you are getting cucked.
So don't play if you can't tolerate that.
Also, it's totally cool to bang one roommate and as many other women as you want, but as soon as you bang both roommates they immediately know and leave.
Also there is a route where your main love interest gets straight up murderd.

Soo... it's all very cute and lovable until it suddenly and often unpredictably isn't, and that's based on choices you made many hours of playtime in the past.

As a lesser sidenote, UX is atrocious. The navigation is tons of clicking and each time the game lags noticably. And some dialogue lines are extremely unimmersive, especially the "compliments" the MC makes.

I would give this 4.5 stars if only there was an easy mode switch that took out all the NTR and bad ends.

Great game, with a lot of content and stuff to do with them.

A bit grindy and obtuse? Maybe, but nothing compare to an old school ponit and click. You can esaly block harems or Characters if you don't know what are you doing, a price to pay as a consecuence of you choices meaning something in the game, I block the home harem in the first play and the sister route in the second.

The two 2D is good as for the dating sim and the sandbox elements are amazing. You have a lot to do with a lot of characters. Its more a dating sim with porn elements than fap festival with date elements

I couldn't support as a patreon right now but I pay for the game in Steam as a contribution

To much grind, the ridicoulous requirement at the end of the date to acept the invitation of a girl is just so goddamn stupid that I recommend using a cheat.

If 7 out of 10 stamina isn´t enough to accept it then wtf

Not sure why this game can be rated anything lower than 5 stars, but go figure. This game is what a real free world, consequential choices, PORN game should be. With all kinds of fetishes and even pregnancy, you can't really go wrong. At least try it.

Pros:

- unique graphics
- immersive storyline for every girl, each has her own distinct personality
- consequential choices
- a variety of kinks and fetishes

Cons:

- unavoidable ntr + ntr in general ntr is avoidable, but takes some getting used to (read the wiki!)
- graphics can look a little odd at times (mainly the characters)
- hoping for more interactions between girls and more content in the future

Summary: A must try. I'll be supporting the creator's patreon come next patch if this game doesn't get abandoned. Cheers!

I've tried really hard to like this game, I like sandbox games, I like building harems, I like interesting, we'll written characters.

Why not?

The two big issues are it's very, very grindy - which gets boring fast. And if you're working towards a particular route, it's far too easy for that route to get blocked (characters getting removed from the game, etc). And when that happens, you're back in the pain of the grind. This is because relatively small seeming things can have big, often inescapable impacts much later in the game - with no warning or sense it's about to happen. So despite being to be a sandbox, it has some really big linear elements that ruin later parts of the game.

It has other negatives - navigation is terrible, multiple clicks to get where you're going is nice to start with but gets painful with the grind; to really progress, you need the wiki rather that it being even remotely intuitive.

The positives - the characters are interesting, I like the artwork, and the game is generally well executed. The basic mechanics are interesting.

But these positives are outweighed by the negatives. Really not worth the time I've spent playing it. It's a shame - it could be great.

For a very long time I did not pay attention to this game, I thought another mediocre craft. But as it turned out, this game is simply incredible! Huge freedom of action, changing seasons, dating sim and much more! There is quite a lot of content, but, as always, I want more) I hope that in the future the developer will not abandon the game and continue in the same direction as now! I also hope for the appearance of the mother of the protagonist in the game

First, I must say, I really like almost everything this game has to offer. Everything from the kinks, to the animation, to the grammar, and the relationships. However, my only current critique is that I wish more options and potential avenues weren't closed off early or were rediscoverable or obtainable again. As someone who's a bit of a completionist with games like these, I hate exploring a game for a couple hours and being immersed in it only to find out after all that time that certain scenes, scenarios, relationships, etc. are no longer viable because I had sex with someone too soon or didn't learn something quickly enough. Regardless of this annoyance, I still rank this game as one of the top on this website!
