is there a way to restore characters that left the game ?
For some stupidly reason i finished a investigation much faster than i anticipated and Cassidy left the game ...
Can i restore her ?, i mean Renpymod, any command or something ?

To set a character as not gone_forever you're going to need to use these commands (plus any extra for the specific character), name.flags.gone_forever = False, name.love.max = name.love = x (replace x with the value the character was before they left (love values uses use a 2:1 ratio so a 2 in the code is a 1 ingame)), name.unhide() (replace name with the character's name(lowercase) for all these commands), plus any extra that might be need based on when the character left.

Since you want Cassidy specifically post-investigation these are the additional commands you'll need (I'm going to assume you weren't fired). cassidy.hide(), del DONE["cassidy_investigation_complete"], del DONE["cassidy_setup_meeting"], game.flags.suspended = True, game.flags.underinvestigation = True,
cassidy.flags.investigationDelay = TemporaryFlag(True, 7, hook=[hook_set_flag, {"girl": cassidy, "flag": "finishinvestigation", "value": True}]),
and
cassidy.flags.meetingDelay = TemporaryFlag(True, 2, hook=[hook_set_flag, {"girl": cassidy, "flag": "setupmeeting", "value": True}]), these commands should put you at the start of the investigation so you can try again.

The game is still a nightmare when it comes to event triggers for some characters and obscure decisions preventing things from proceeding.

Samantha is still hidden for me when I'm waiting for a Sat event to trigger, yes she got knocked up during the cheating revenge path and she's supposed to show up for the cheater got pregnant scene - nada. Used the search function, saw there was supposedly a fix for Sam staying hidden in some situations - well, it's not fixed. Someone posted some code chunk intended to fix it or force trigger the preggo chat, well unless I misunderstood something I pasted the code in the shift+O window - nothing.

And again the most frustrating shittily coded character - Emma again - the path for Sam fixing the relationship after that coffee shop meetup where she freaks out and Sam says she'll bring her around is still not done - and it hasn't been done in how long? Just do it. And when you talk to Emma about the Sam/Ryan cheating on each other and admit you've been doing it with her, she asks if you love her, and if you say yes she refuses to date and there's no progress, but her path stays open in the journal with 0 hints if this is fixable.

Those 2 are an utter shitshow of programming and event logic.

speaking of the old game, will old scenes be updated to a newer style? (as in the very old ones that clearly look... 'worse'). The style for some of the sex scenes has quite a bit of a discrepancy that it can throw you off

Dude, first of all, I love this game, it’s really awesome. But seeing the advances in AI and all, this game needs a mod to make everything realistic. Man, it would be so sick!
The main problem I see is that the game's art is really a bunch of paper dolls. You have one (actually several) "base models" for all characters based on how they're positioned on the screen and then the different dresses, accessories etc are all selected by the code to show when appropriate and layered over (e.g. if you're in the hot tub the character shows up in a bikini).

So, to make it all in a realistic AI style you'd have to have the AI accurately re-create all those individual pieces. Replacing them in the game should be relatively trivial (you just make the code point from the original image to your new AI one instead) but the whole paper doll effect I think would be hard to re-create in AI.

I do agree that the samples you've provided look really cool.
