I am glad you are living in a wealthy country, but dont be this stupid to assume that everyone does. An engineer in my country earns less wealth than a janitor in yours.

We'll have to keep in mind that some people can't take VR very well, especially those who are claustrophobic or prone to motion sickness. VR causes them extreme nausea and in some cased eye-strain and headaches (even on comfort mode in most games). But those trashing out VR, you should really try proper VR (Rift/Vive/WMR) if you can. VR makes a world of difference between the flat screen and you being in the game yourself. Honestly, I'm having a hard time for months to go back to any flat screen games after I'm hooked on VR

Sorry to hear about your plight.
What country are you in? I have heard of a few places where people with D.R. degrees work as farm help and such but was not sure if it were propaganda.
On the other hand some countries have a 4-6hr work day and the people are asking for a raise to compete with others working 12hr days.
I'm one of those that get 4-6hs rest from work and not sure if I can keep the pace.
Hope your country comes out of the dark ages soon.

I am not trying to make it sound like I am in poverty or anything, but having disposable income enough to buy a vr set is out of the question.
It all boils down to currencies for the most part. 1 USD equals ~6 TRY, and thus the minimum wage equals ~350 USD. Same problem for most of the countries with worthless currencies; poland, russia, india, china and so on. Basically anywhere that isnt the first world.

At least I dont live in venezuela, I guess...

I dont really mind vr only titles, as i said it makes sense business wise. What set me off was "just get a job" mentality.

I have an Oculus Rift, and when it comes to any type of game, VR blows away all of the non VR competition.

Agreed 100%.

It's insane when people complain about games being "only" in VR.

Like there's maybe 2-3 decent ero projects a year right now coming out for VR. If those were made for regular 2D play too, it would literally be a different game. Once VR becomes more mainstream and cheaper to get, you're going to be glad there are a few experiences that only work in VR, because those experiences are unlike anything else out there.

In the meantime, please tide yourself over with *EVERY SINGLE OTHER GAME.* :/

Can anyone explain the controls for Oculus? I found that by clicking the right stick & pushing a direction allows me to move a few in-game inches, but that's all I could figure out. She's just sitting there on the couch staring at her phone, & I can't seem to get her attention. Seems a little too much like real life.

The thumbsticks on the occulus touch are supposed to move you around but they dont do jack... i dont know if its an issue with steamvr or what.

VR is affordable and makes a HUGE difference. The only problem is that there is little to no content to use it with and people don't expect it to become mainstream anytime soon

Manage to get this somewhat working the cheap way (none oculus) with stuff I already had.
Still cannot figure out movement in this game and not bothered trying anymore. But maybe someone else can figure it out.

Hardware used: Smart phone, Google Cardboard (or better), Nintendo Wii Mote w/ nunchucks
App requirement: Steam VR, Trinus Cardboard (PC and phone app), Driver4VR

1) Download and extract the game
2) Download and install Trinus Cardboard on your PC and Phone (Free for 15mins before needing to rerun application)
3) Download and install Driver4VR (Free for 10mins before needing to rerun application)
4) Download and install Steam and Steam VR

5) Open Trinus VR on your PC and set the capture mode to SteamVR and connect it to your Phones Trinus application
6) Open Steam and manually add the game (Love Vibe Aria.exe)
7) Open Driver4VR and follow the guide provided by this dude:

8) Run the game via SteamVR

Although the applications Trinus Cardboard and Driver4VR need to restart after the timer the game itself keeps playing so no progress is lost.

Please note I will NOT provide a detailed instruction further then this, but wanted to quickly share how far I managed to get without the expensive stuff so others can try.

Sounds nice and all, if you don`t live in eastern europe. 350 is ~minimal wage, which most "regular" jobs pay, because why not? Obviously, everything else is cheaper too, like day to day stuff, but when it comes to everything else, like in this case a VR set, 350 might not be much for you, yet for someone else it might mean all they earn in a months time. Add the bills and the day to day stuff etc., and... yeah.
I`m not ranting or anything. I could afford one if I really wanted to, but I for one do find it expensive atm. I could give up smoking and spend that money on all kinds of stuff like this, lol, but I lack the determination. )
