Unity - Lovely Craft Piston Trap [v0.1] [Crime]

Beautiful art that is a tasteful and amusing interpretation of the source material. The animation is quality and there are plenty of mechanics and content already with much more on the roadmap. Can't wait to see this game grow.

Grindy grind grind-grind grind.
Not bad (outside of the grind) for a v0.1 with literally zero updates so far, but it could be a lot better and it could be a lot worse.

Wont spend too long on the good here, it's a pretty basic sex sim with nice animation and art, and there's a decent amount of stuff to unlock already, including two girls. Even the little voice acting in the game is fine, and that's something I usually like to mute if possible.

The bad:

1. Everything you unlock is an objective upgrade to your income, so you HAVE to activate them all. Like the sheep? Too bad, use the cow. Hate piercings? Too bad. Hate that meme about writing on them with markers and covering them with degrading text? Mandatory. That kind of stuff. The game's so grindy that NOT using these is simply not an option, especially since each upgrade works multiplicatively with each other. Yes, all this means your "livestock" WILL wear a Carved Pumpkin on their head the whole game. (Dev, pls just make the income boost passive when you buy the upgrades...)
2. Grindy. VERY grindy. I used Cheat Engine to set my money to what I thought was a comically-high amount, but I still couldn't afford everything, ha. I made it a couple upgrades in before giving up.
3. There's a breast expansion upgrade, but it's so subtle that even A-B comparing you can barely tell anything changed.
4. I wish the piston was more "snappy" like the Minecraft one. Everything has this kind of "smooth, underwater" vibe to how everything animates. (Maybe there's eventually a "piston grease" upgrade that turns it from swiping the mouse back and forth into "click, unclick, click, unclick" and it snaps in and out based on your clicks?)
5. I'm probably blind and it's probably in the game, but there definitely needs to be a "piston sensitivity" setting. My mouse is VERY sensitive, yet I have to cross about a foot back and forth to do full strokes with the piston for some reason.
6. Sometimes the shopkeeper's mouth doesn't animate
7. "Bougie" is misspelled as "boujee", which I thought was funny.
8. The cow is labeled as "chubby", but is roughly the same shape as the sheep (minus the bigger tits). To be fair though, both have such big thighs it hides their bodies pretty well.

Tons of potential right off the bat. The animations are simple but super effective, and I love what they're setting up early on. Already see that the Twilight Forest will be one of the locations, which is dope as hell too.

Loved the idea of the pumpkin head, but I don't think that blocking the face off is a good idea. Maybe change it to a different hat or something. But the objects to increase boob size, the nipple rings, the marker, and the multiplier system in general is surprisingly well balanced for a version 0.1

Absolute banger, the animations, the quality, mhm so exquisite, a bit sad of the content available right now, but it is the first release so ill wait. I like what I see on the map, although there is no other maps at the moment the available slots shows content and I am all for content. Hoping to see more in the near future...

The game has a lot of potential. It looks really nice and is quite a time-killer. Loved it!
The graphics are nice, the design is awesome. Well, you might consider some other variants to control the piston... But its alright for v0.1

For what it is Lovely Craft Piston Trap provides a great experience. The game play is simple but the animation and the feel of it is flawless. Of course I do not think the game is complete. I would say the game only lack variety, Such as different positions and more characters.

Nice and simple gameplay and upgrade system just keep the piston going and more money comes in. Animations and art are great and better than most other games and the upcoming updates promise alot to look forward to. Short simple but good game as of now but theres alot of potential.

Honestly i would give it even 5 stars but it would feel unfair to more advanced games. But one thing i always agree on is simplicity with good quality beats everything else.

- game has very fluid and nice animations followed with good artstyle. I would argue why stop here and not make it even better quality wise? By that i mean there is few small phases how dildo inserts and how pussy grips on it right? Dev could make even more of them, with some randomized effects from time to time or depending on an angle. By any means anything that makes doing the same thing more interesting is good, here girl has around 3 reactions and voices and thats it. If dev stops on that and is gonna just add more different stuff then im dissappointed a bit.

- im not a fan of automated piston, i get that it gets boring mashing mouse left and right all the time but thats the whole point. First when you unlock automated option you pretty much never do it manualy which takes off fun of the game. Its kinda like fast travel in skyrim games if you know what i mean.

- its early version so a lot will be added later, i for sure will check on it. For now there is not much to do, its just a 10 min teaser.

Quick review, and even then its highly likely that the time it took for me to type this out will outlast the game in every conceivable manner.

So what can you do here exactly? Well, just click the auto button and keep it in the background while you mine gems to unlock bonuses that'll allow you to mine even more gems. The only thing that even remotely substantial is to change the sheep to a cow but its merely a skin changer; like putting lipstick on a pig. Is there any point to any of this?

To conclude,

Let's just call this for what it is. Its an interactive gif, very nicely drawn and animated but like all cardboard cutout, look sideways and the thing is exposed as nothing more than a pretentious piece of furniture. I cant even say that I find it enjoyable, because there's really nothing substantial to begin with. In a world where porn is readily available in all shapes and form, this thing offers absolutely no niches and is presently a waste of time.

The only saving grace is that its technically an early access game, but really only a complete overhaul can truly save this, which is why I decided to review it now because I cant ever see this game evolve from the present product. A quick look at the other games this dev have made in the past reveals more or less the same concept, with minimal alterations, none of which is completed: so can anyone really be optimistic for this title? Going by historical precedent, cant say that I can.

As it stands, it's a barebones idle game, but it makes up for it by having excellent animations. You currently only have a choice between a Sheep girl and a Cow girl and a few cosmetic changes that give multipliers.
There's purchasable map fragments, but as it stands, it does nothing as that content is not in the game.

There's also a little roadmap that gives players an idea of what the developer wants to add. As it is more or less the Minecraft Piston meme, there is no money-shots or anything. It's more or less an interactive loop. Still, if the quality of animation remains for the apparent 70 mobs planned, I think it'll be worth checking on or supporting.
