For all that is nice about this game, it's an outright crime to have a grind without accessible cheats.

Are there any plans to add voice lines to the Farmer and Alex when they're in the boats? Or any variation between the moans of the girls? It gets a little annoying hearing the same sets of moans for all the grinding the game has you do.

Yeha... I personaly used cheet engine speed hack. They should cut down on grind, but then you can say it has almost no content... It is early, they are balancing it, and I hope they will get it right on full relase, have patience and enjoy your 500% speed hack cooking your ship from inside from friction :)

The grind is fine, but the progression isn't that great. Like, you can beat the whole thing in under an hour with the auto piston running, plus IIRC the game runs fine tabbed-out and you can just play it as an idle game.
Farming for materials is the only grind I don't really like in the game since you're stuck waiting for Girl X to cum Y times though.

The problem with progression in a lot of games like this is that once you've got the things you like, there's not as much incentive to keep playing or to try getting further into the actual content. Like, if you love the sheep and her initial design, there's not that much of a reason to care for size/shape upgrades, new clothes or new NPCs. For me it's the bust upgrades and maybe the clothes, but after that...?
There's really just a lot of stuff I outright skipped getting, which is probably why I didn't have to grind at all playing this, I suppose.

Haha, kinda the same issue as in other games, not just porn. Like, back in the day, during the few days I tried and failed to get into Diablo 3, I got the skills I wanted and when the game gives me the big fanfare like "whoooa u unlocked a new attackkkkk use it nowwwww!" I just didn't care. At that point I then looked it up and found that I WOULDN'T care at all until endgame and the paragon stuff, meaning the remainder of the game is just me watching Diablo lore get stepped on while I brain-drain the combat and loot to max level and start getting incremental stat buff stuff from the paragon systems. Turned a C- tier game into a hard F.

Just simplified the word, my friend.

def should make a vn dating sim with these girls and Steve! (just a suggestion, wink wink WINK)
The blessing and/or curse is that the movie just came out;
On the one hand, it'd be way too easy to start slinging around memes from the movie.
On the other hand, it'd be way too easy to start slinging around memes from the movie.

Also NGL there's at least one Minecraft mod that makes it so you can open up a VN dialog screen with mobs and possibly date them, though I don't know how many of those mods ever got consistent updates since I'm not into VNs. I wanna say one of these mods actually started the "creeper girl is just a girl with a creeper hoodie" trend.

Grind and Progression go hand in hand. If the progression isn't great, then the grind is usually pointless. The only time the grind is usually worthwhile, is if you have friends to play with.

ie Original WoW took about 2000 hours to reach Naxx. But the game only had reasonably 60 hours of content. The grind was acceptable because you had friends to play with. If it was a single player experience, no one would say that would be acceptable.

No new posts on itch, twitter, or patreon. You sure?

Just to not double post, this is a message from a dev on the discord answering questions about the delay, from earlier today. Seems like further delays.
Ok, so the bugfix (0.2.5.2) is not the update everyone's waiting for. Explains the annoying comments on the itch page.
