I usually ignore all games that have a sub-4.0 rating on f95, but I quite enjoyed Shale Hill Secrets. Are there any other undeservedly underrated games I should check out?

If you do, it has a phenomenal level of choice and granularity in corrupting the heroines. That said, the gameplay is cumbersome and difficult, and I haven't played it recently because of that.

Welcome To Hell is probably the most underrated game on this site. It got a bad rap probably because it kinda messed up the relationship flow in the early game. You can use the mod to mostly fix it.
Past chapter 3 I'd rate it 4.5 or so.
Savior and Reunion also have underservingly low ratings.
Lastly Champion of the Realms. There has been some drama with fake reviews etc. Not sure the extend of it, but the game's thread is busted, including both rating and updates. If you like Corrupted Kingdoms, Demons of the Hearth or Goddess Whim, you will probably like this too. Download the compressed version, it's high quality.

Don't do that, if it is like.. not 1 star rating, I think you should play every game whose preview images or something else interest you and experience it yourself. Because sometimes people can give unfair reviews because their own kinks are not in the game or for another unnecessary reasons.
Go play the game yourself and if it doesn't really interest you, just turn it off. If you don't want to waste time, go through the reviews of people who actually write "reviews" (those who put in some effort) and see what they don't like about the game.

Don't look at the ratings. What you need to do instead is look at the tags, preview images, trailers, reviews (the long ones) or even try the game regardless of the ratings. I have a lot of games that are rated 3 or lower stars but I enjoyed it more than the 4 or above stars games here. We are talking about porn games here, everyone has different kinks and fetishes so just find those games that fits you regardless of ratings and trust me you will find a lot of games that you will enjoy.

Same tbh, I like to visit the pages of the games that I consider top tier to check the comments and then I see rating of 2/2.6 and then I’m like ->
