I appreciate the work people did on the fanart renders, but most people's Annie still looks off...... like it's similar, but the face is slightly different in game, it's warmer, subtle differences - and the body is very different.

No I'll agree that one looks pretty good.

Btw was playing older games-the one in my sig- Elena is literally identical Elena model from New Coral City - and he's used it in a bunch of his games; King of the beach, etc; I'm sure there are asset lists because those had bigger fanbases than this a few years ago.

So, my dudes, I made another render of our lovely character, I want that you tell me what you think about quality of my render. And how do you think my Chris looks in general? In my personal opinion I think that I need to change texture of that robe, I'll provide some experiments with it and, maybe, this cloth will receive a better look.

Every aspect is definitely better in the second image. I don't know much about, but it looks pretty good. And the texture is good overall.
I would add some denoising, in my opinion

I know, I don't really good at 3D graphic and I don't really think that someone will be paying me money for those pics, cuz I'm not a professional artist, but I'm trying to do my best. Here I brought another my work. Personally, I love that lingerie, but this f***** costume piece of dogsh**, I hate working with it - too many details who doesn't work how they need to work. But, nevertheless, I almost got all costumes for Chirs. I think, next, I'm gonna make her school uniform. I hope it will take less time than this stupid f****** garbage. Cat-look.png

Okay, my dudes, today I was trying something different. I make 2 renders - first just in DAZ, and the second one - DAZ with Depth of Field from Photoshop. Please, let me know what look better for your taste!
P.s. Left to make - gym outfit, casual 2 and, maybe, bikini, idk.
P.s.s. I hope on this forum are people who loves slim girls foots. TEST SHORTS.png TEST SHORTS_F@1,25x.png

Honestly using depth of field is a matter of taste. I personally don't like this feature and usually disable it in many games, for example.
Both renders look great) Her legs are marvelous . But why is she sad or is that a standard facial expression?

I always wondering about professional gymnastic Chris's skills, and maybe she can do more interesting things. Okay, I'm trying to make motion blur, this is my first try to make something like that, so do not judge strictly. Unfortionaly, working with that type outfit give me lack of ideas, so I decided to try something new, something that you don't usually see in actual 3d games. So, I hope you appreciate my work. P.s. still to make - casual 2, bikini.

Keep up the good work.

As for DOF though, I will point out that DAZ cameras have DOF built-in as an option to turn on or off and adjust the range. If you want to use DOF you should make some attempts doing it that way rather than in postwork. As a simple example, the pink beanbag in the above image is out of focus while her arm resting on it is in focus. Both are at the same distance (as is her face) away from the camera. They should all have the same amount of blur. A camera would do that. Doing it in post one can get a lot of mismatch. (same with the carpet all losing focus rather than being sharp at the distance of focus and blurring away from that point).

As for the motion blur, she doesn't seem blurred at all. Gymnastic_2_motion.png
A quick and rough postwork hack of motion blur (her spinning around the bar and so her feet are moving much faster than her hands).
