Also encountering a lot of bugs, got randomly knocked out for 3 days when sleeping as well.

Still experiences the bug when trying to find a training partner. It seems the sprite for the guard captain is in front of the one for the quest, so when you click it just asks if you want to reassign the guards instead of allowing you to finish the quest

Is it possible to do the quests on the Dwarf and Duergar side at the same time? Will I have problems if I do this?

Yea I had to delete it. To many bugs. My save files are getting all fucked up. I went to sleep and it knocked me out for no reason for 3 days. I'll have to wait until some of these things get fixed.
Holy hell, yep, my bad, I blocked the game trying to fix some reported bugs, didnt have much time to play test them during the holidays.

I'll upload a fix for the starting crashing bug, knocking out at night (at least i think) and many other stuff. I'm curious if you have a save file, if you can send it in dm I would test it with yours, maybe it would show me some side I didnt test yet (even testing the game couple of time, it seems i do not get to the same point as many players and do not get those bugs)

Just upload a fix for these bugs in 0.13.0.2 (you just need the script file if you have the previous version):

it should fix the starting bug (I hope) but there might be more during battle (it's a new system that include a lot of the old system so for sure it's not fail proof, but I'll try to fix all reported bugs as fast as possible. If you encounter many bug report during battle, send a print screen and I'll probably be able to fix it)

anyone else stuck at investigate the hill path?
When you go to the hills and click on the footprints you get the hint to follow them by scent.
So you need the wolf.
Therefore go to the hideout, select the wolf as your companion, then go to the hills and click on the footprints on the ground.

Edit:
Also when Zana is captured by the humans you might get stuck in the quest to go the farms with Idril as your companion.
That happens if you have selected Idril as your companion before you got the quest to go to the farms with her.

In that case go to your hideout, select the wolf as companion and then switch back to Idril as companion.
It seems the trigger for the game is set to recognize it only if you switch your companions to Idril as companion after receiving that quest.

what do upgrading skills/attacks do anyway? the tooltip does not change at all.. like goblin punch does same dmg regardless of lvl from what i can see.. and upgrading doesnt change the description at all.. it would be nice if it was higher multipliers... lower time cost.. or higher chance to crit.. but if it is a higher crit chance, it would be nice to have some descriptor to explain that..

Rusty dagger, is also a dmg thing that doesnt change.. and it doesnt even have a crit thing to it.
healing doesnt change either.. so what does upgrading do? except costing more expensive mats to repair.

Once you have the orc body, taken over the village and built the library you can have Zana do research.
If you research "battle" once, then afterwards you can research your skills/weapons.
With some progress in the story (I think obtaining the goblin body again and visiting the goblin hideout) you can then see the stats of the weapons/skills in your menu for managing the setup of your deck.
There you can also see the effects of the upgrades.
E.g.: On the goblin / orc attacks upgrades increase the crit chance by 5% per upgrade.
On the throwing knives attack upgrades increase the number of attacks - probably by 1 additional attack per upgrade: Like 5 attacks + X attacks with X = the number of upgrades).

Basically:
Chance on skill --> Upgrading increases that chance by 5% per upgrade (percentage visible on different upgrade stages)
Number of attacks on skill --> Upgrading increases number of attacks by +1 per upgrade (cannot be seen on the card, just a guess from using it in battle)
No chance + no number of attack --> Upgrading increases direct damage (the increase cannot be seen on the card, so no idea how much per upgrade)

Edit:
Btw. I found the goblin / orc skill respectively to be the most efficent attacks.
They cost low action during battle and can get good payout with the crits.
Furthermore their endurance does not decrease, so they do not need to be repaired - same as with the skills you get from your companion.
So upgrading the goblin / orc skill is the most useful in my opinion as you get good damage and do not have to worry about repair costs.

Well i'll have to re-download it. Maybe your bugfix update will fix it. I'll check it out but if not I'll try to send over a save.

So I've done the preparations with Soka to attack the villages, I need to place troops around it. Problem is there is a zombie unit at the swamps and they are not letting me through. Every time I win the battle, another one starts and repeats. How to get through them?

i dont have full gallery with this save
The game makes saves in at least 2 different places:
1. The game directory: in the folder "game" is the folder "saves"
2. In the temporary files in "AppData" -> "Roaming" -> "Renpy" -> "LuckyMonsterXXXXXXXXXX" (X being some numbers)

Then the game seems to compare which file is newer and load that data.
Since the full save file you downloaded is older than your own save file, the game uses your save file data.

To get around that you can upload the full save to an editor (e.g.: saveeditonline(dot)com ) and the download it again from there.
The save file from the online editor will have a newer creation date and hence should be chosen from the game.

I think if you talk to them but cancel (go back without giving them assignment) they get off, but yeah it would be good to have a "remove from task" option, I just have to figure a way to cancel without bugging quests if in the middle of something
