All of that is really weird actually, I believe that the sudden change of pace was what the people disliked (I didn't dislike it actually), but it would be a shame to turn this game into a vanilla one...

Rest assured, half of those who disliked this update were NTR fans and even hard NTR fans
Personally, I play both NTS and NTR
So don't assume that we're looking for vanilla
What people really didn't like are other issues mentioned in the comments
You cannot forcibly and without proper implementation impose NTR on the story! And you should not NTR'd NTS fans without prior warning! [If NTR is unavoidable? Say it's unavoidable! It's that simple! Why are you NTRing NTS fans!]

Personally, i liked playing out the moment where the wife doesn't cross the line, where there are hot moments, but i as a player decide what will happen next!

Here I must say I am like this too, I like the feeling of control, when everything is imposed on the player and the player can't do anything, I don't have a good feeling unless the writing of that game is extremely strong, which the number of these developers is less than the fingers on one hand

Who even listens to comments? They were doing well before all this! Didn't they themselves understand what they were doing with history and what kind of reaction it would cause?

The biggest mistake a developer can make is to pay attention to users in critical decisions
These developers don't build games based on their beliefs, promises, interests, and level of understanding, which is why nothing will have the necessary quality
The path of the story can change completely at any moment, it's enough for users to demand it from the developer

wow others werent joking. Complete tonal flip, it's like he gave the reins over to a 16 year old Not to mention it seems entirely kinetic after about chapter 6 - the exact same plotline happens regardless of choice, and mc turns into the same doormat.

The other characters changed too - Bob flipped a 180 - literally no reason for him to turn scummy when mc was tossing out freebies anyway. Also none of the dialogue questions later game make any sense - early on they're obvious with usually a more loving choice and a more horny choice, or a more protective choice vs a more slutty choice. Late game you get stuff like "oh thats hot"/"yes i obey" in response to Emma taunting you, makes no sense.

Update that erases everything that has been achieved in previous updates. I'm going to list what I remember, because I'm really pissed off.

1. Why Bob has gone from being a nice guy, to whom the MC passed photos of the wife, told him about the car camera, etc. to blackmailing him for photos of the wife (?????) Dude, if you ask the MC for them, he'll pass them to you because you already have that relationship. It doesn't make any sense. Is the perfect character for NTS and everything shows that it was his role, but now... another game where every dude blackmails the MC into fucking his wife, when the game is about a couple exploring their limits. Doesn´t make any sense.

2. The wife's best friend. The bridge that leads the wife to the hot-wife route. She was perfect, taking baby steps, turning the wife into a hotwife, and suddenly, she switches into psycho mode, and wants to ‘get revenge’ at her because she had to blow a guy because of a car problem. Girl, what's bothering you? it was clear that you're one of those girls, you've shown it in the rest of the chapters. There would be a thousand better ways to handle that scene. For example, you're blowing that guy, and the wife is masturbating while watching you. Go up to her, see if it ends up being a double blowjob, or ask the guy to film or take pictures of the wife while she's watching you. But no, a mindless psychopathic revenge to destroy the wife.

3. THAT SCENE WITH THE WIFE. The only thing the wife had done so far was blow a guy she met at a party, and in conversations with the MC, you can see that she's worried that it might bother her husband. But suddenly, in the revenge of the psycho best friend, the guy from the car accident fucks her in the ass AND SHE EATS HER OWN SHIT OFF HIS DICK AND LETS HIM PISS IN HER MOUTH. WHAT THE FUCK! You can't take a character with doubts about whether what she's doing is right and have her be a sow who eats her shit and gets her mouth pissed on.

really, really, really bad update, and I hope they remake these chapters or add options to achieve other outcomes that are not so murky and devastating to the cast of characters.

It's like saying to a band or whatever artist "hey, you should do your art this way now because that's what the people who bought your previous art wants now", it sounds weird to me. I think that the people who support the artist should do that because they trust the artist and want to know what's gonna come out its mind, not to SAY what should come out of its mind. but hey, that's just my opinion

Yea. I've been very charitable and thinking that maybe he didn't like how the story was playing out. He did mention as such prior to the long break, that he felt he made mistakes and wasn't happy with how things were progressing. SO I guess he's doing what he wanted to do from the start, but was afraid to do at the time. I'm not a fan of the switch, personally, but I will continue to play because his wife is hot! She could be baking cookies next update, and I'll still download it lol.

I agree with a lot of the comments about the plot. To make it even worse was that the new pictures were so bad. During the wife's ass-fuck scene the pictures were terrible - you really couldn't see anything. The picture of the wife for the cabby was some different woman. Just bad, bad.
