You need a studio, a casting office, a planning office and a PR office won't hurt either... once you have 3 or 5 short movies you also need a cutting-, copy-, and audio room... also a room for shipments.
If you want to save money you can sell your movies to the guy from the last level (you won't need shipment, PR or cutting, copy and audio) but he'll rip you off.
you can lease all of those.
the only building you need to actually buy (if you don't wanne pay rent for the rest of the level) is Lula's room.
all other rooms are optional, but you eventually want a gate or you'll be swarmed by mobs daily and a recreation room or your actors will cause you hell.

If I play the game, it doesn't fit my screen. I can't see my money or anything like that.

How do you do the third part where you go national? It looks like no matter what I do my stores don't make any money.

if they make a profit they keep it... you have to visit each store and collect the money yourself... try to get the private yet early

I know, but everytime I go back to check, the profits are negative and the capital has gone down.

I have no idea how to research the market. The game has been pretty loose with instructions until now but there's so much here that isn't explained like mansion differences, parties, store types, merchandise, etc.

well the game was mostly try and learn before aswell... in level 1 getting interest on your movies was better than selling, and refuseing some offers yielded higher prices, also handeing over a certain amount of films increased the interest rate further.
2nd Chapter scenery could increase quality of movies... all that wasn't explained either.
The third (and last) chapter holds it's on secrets, but if you visit your shops regulary you should be able to turn a profit before long... you might want to have several mil on your bank account before advanceing to the 3rd chapter though

Back in the days I played stage 2 until the game crashed
(I think when the calendar hits 2000 or too much money on the bank)

same group created Airline 69 which was pretty similiar in Art and H-stuff and pretty close to Stage 1 of Lula.
The 2nd part was eniterly different and by my personal opinion rather worthless.
Lula also had a 2nd release with a Star Wars Science Fiction note... and more of a brothel manager, trader background.

On this Page games like "Pornohero" or " Cindy a Pron Adventure" became pretty close looking to the first stage of Lula

I went through my collection of old games last weekend and found this game "again"!
I made a image file from it and tryed to install it on my windows 10 laptop...but I can't get it to run!
I'm downloading it now hoping this image is working on win10.
I do find it stange though...my cd has for 584MB of data! While this image is just 407MB in size.
I also have an (I guess) later cd copy of the game with 614MB of content. This is because of some of the files in the DATA folder are larger. Can someone tell me what is the correct cd size? And how to get the game running on a win10 laptop?

Late to the party but I'd like to highly rate this game. Its really so funny, and how they got the photos of the porn stars is really hilarious which can be seen in the 2nd stage. Some big photos are cut to split up the actresses, some are actually the same actress in different poses.

Also there were many clickable things in the 2nd stage, especially the monitors, which would give a really audible surprise...
