The same model was in WW, just an early access to new scenes. $250 of donations. Game development takes loads of time, especially when you work alone. So it's the answer why previous games didn't get updates every month.

The full process of making even one little scene takes almost a week: you need to write and translate text, make a lot of sketches (one of the Luna in the Tavern's scenes contains 36 (!) frames and all of the process took two weeks of everyday work), then you should make a lineart for all of this sketches and color every frame. Guys... just imagine how hard this work is.

And not only that! You also should write a code and test it over and over again until the game starts to work perfectly. We add some new engine features every update. So now we even work on interactive tavern.

So I just wanted to say that's all about hiring other people to help us make a beautiful game. You can check the credits and see it. (I want to notice that two people preferred to stay anonymous)
Please don't die a martyr's death. I'm so sorry to say, but you just said jack shit that was constructive in any meaningful way. The discussion is about monetization models, and not the lengths of the update periods or the painful life a game developer. Every other game developed on patreon, and for that matter the whole indie sphere has to do all of what you just mentioned. I don't see all of them openly self-pitying themselves. If you can’t be humble, at least feel ashamed.

If you want to belittle people in a slightly veiled self advertisement kindly piss off, and go somewhere else.

Golden star.
Thank you! I'm sorry to hear your user experience in a porn game is limited by the amount of save slots and text skipping function. Our goals are new characters, new scenes, their quality and amounts, and the pace of updates.

And I need to mention I've never discussed neither the failure (or success!) of WW nor the failure of early access. So I'm not sure of your purpose of saying that I'm acting in some way.

Wow you are one thick-skinned guy.
So what you're saying is every dev in the regular game industry should be scrutinized for the methods they use, but not porn devs? How fucking convenient for you, you are above any kind of criticism and in the moral right no matter what you do. Let me break it to you, it being a porn game changes extremely little in the perception of the egregious marketing ploy you are using in game. You deserve every bit of criticism you are receiving, and most of it is warranted. Being a sarcastic prick won't make you more immune to any of it.

On to our next topic of discussion. How exactly are new characters and scenes even remotely connected to how you try to strong-arm people into paying up? They are only relevant to the amount you make not the methods you use. If you truly think you could have never received as much support without being a bad sport about it. You are more cynical, and are farther up your ass then I ever imagined.

Oh yeah! Now that you mention it. Where is that one save slot for the public, which you promised sometime back? Seriously though, I couldn't give less of a shit about your save slots. I was much more interested in WW than your current project. I just wish it died in a more satisfying way. You never explicitly talked about why it failed, but you do have a habit of implying things.

Whoops! No idea why does it has to connect to Apple but upon blocking the request it throws an exception.
I bet for Windows it would be the same.
So take advice: turn off network when you play this.

I can't discuss things you think I'm implying. For example:
you're saying is every dev in the regular game industry should be scrutinized for the methods they use, but not porn devs?
I didn't even mention other game industry, I don't see how that's relevant, and I don't want to talk about it - there are too many games and many monetization ways. Let's get to the main problem here:
Where is that one save slot for the public
I recorded a video guide for getting a free save slot. I hope it will help you!

you don't even have 1 save slot for trial play ?

and you have to paid for skip feature and little minor things ?

what is this game ? why it's take the route people hate and call it's okay to do so ?

i mean if you make v0.3 and below playable all till v0.4 and you have to either wait or paid for it i'd like to become one of patreon to get ahead to see what's in v0.4 but this "you need to be one of patreon or get blueballed" type is really something.

the art is good but such a shame to the feature block it's not okay.

stop milking it's not healthy and you just dis-credit your own game.

First time playing it; the artwork and writing is great. Of course, paywalling certain "hidden" scenes is really off putting. Though I'm not half as enraged or whatever as others in this thread, charging $15 per version to see an extra scene or two just feels wrong, (generously assuming an update is released every month, if not then, what, $30, $45?.)

The paywall feels like the result of insecure feelings on the dev's part regarding whether or not the game would actually bring in Patrons, but of course the game's Patreon is doing quite well. How much of that success is derived from players giving in to the paywall we'll never know, but I'd wager that game would be doing much better if it presented itself as a complete experience for everyone, and not present the player with an in game ultimatum; frustrating most, and enticing the few.

It's a good game, but presented in such an unfortunate and disappointing way.

I get that people are annoyed by having to log in to be able to save. But the argument about scenes is ridiculous. You cant access the 0.4 scenes because there is a 1 month exclusivity for patreons. Every dev does that. The main difference being that this game actually has a form of piracy protection. Are the higher tier rewards in proportion to the amount of money you have to spend to get them? Not really. You could get something like an Xbox Game Pass or Netflix subscription for that money. Nobody spends that amount of money for one or two extra scenes. Its people who really want to see this game get made and the dev tries to give them a little something in return to show appreciation.

well, I tried .1 and after that .2. I was pissed off that game-play was so ... well unplayable from my perspective.

After seeing this game pop up again I think about once more and right now I kind of believe DEV is doing OK. I mean for me I download games here because either - DEV is milking and I don't wan to support or because I want to try and check if I want to pay for access. Looking like this Titdang is doing OK - I mean he gives everyone a chance to check out his game for free (and he do not need to do it). He choosing to make it not full experience and because of this very frustrating is in my opinion bad decision because he will anger more people who could have become patrons then actual patrons he will get from this stripped versions. Myself is an a example.
This is his choice and well.. I cannot have negative feelings against him because he basically give us here SOMETHING for free. And not every dev is doing so.

honestly dude you need to rethink your business model, such a shame that all the good art are all far naught. No matter how good your game is if most of your game is just blocked within inside a paywall people will be pissed. Im not saying giving it out for free, i mean sure you can but this shit just feels like EA type of stuff. Theres a story where a dev he released a game on steam but wasnt getting attraction, but once he uploaded his own game unto piratebay and he left a little note for the player saying if you cant afford it feel free to torrent it and if you like the game please buy it on steam, and after that upload on piratebay a lot of people bought the game out of respect for the dev.

The least you could do is make it less EA-ish, or just look at existing porn devs and how the fund their project. I mean sure i like free things but its just sad looking at a promising project being stained because of the business model. This is my first comment in this website after years of joining in, so i hope this means something

I took the time and unlocked the save and skip option. It's just like the offical offline version of the game, an Electron app, but with unlocked features and Offlaner patreon scences.

Simply put the current full version.
Thanks for putting in the time.

Comes up as forbidden for me :p just saying.
You mean Forbidden error? It works for me.
Would you like an alternative link?
