I kind of understand what you're saying. The problem is that when Luna started she was a little too 'interesting'. There were a lot of people who didn't even try playing the game because she was too groteasque and disproportionate. Catering to a fetish is fine but if you narrow it too much, it becomes an issue. That's to say that there are a few people that may have liked how she looked at the begininning of lffg but there are far more than liked how she looked after the changes.

Well it was a placeholder because there was no overview provided, and we don't have the time or creativity to write one ourself. (More so without playing the game).Not really good as overview

No. If you have played DI then you would understand. However, it's not really required...the only real tie-in, is showing us Dia (as she is supposed to be in this) and explaining the nuclear war...hence why this is set hundreds of years later and why Luna has lost most of her followers (because nearly everyone was dead).
For those who don't wish to play DI, other than the ending (showing shit going to hell), then to be fair you're not really missing too much.

Luna's Fall from Grace its 1st game in the series and it has the same protagonist as in Luna reloaded. I strongly recommend to play it, not only because it is the beginning of a story, but also because it is a great game on its own.

No, it's not a lesbian only game but I feel like you can play lesbian only on the dom route. I remember some people managed to do that in Luna's Fall from grace.
