The entire thing is rather tedious, but nothing's worse then the end of the day where you have to click the map, click your house, click into the home, click into the room, click your bed, click sleep, then click the map, and wherever you want to go for the new day.

The animations aren't bad though. Probably worth playing in another year.

Edit : Nevermind, you don't have to play the card game to unlock scene, but most of the scene are not animated.

What do the in-game cheats do? Does it unlock Special scenes/ Secrets/ Outfits or is it only for reducing resource grind like giving infinite of something?

It is the correct password. I went and unpacked, then used a tool to open the file. Why it doesn't work is beyond me. Might be something with system locale or language maybe? No clue.

I unpacked, opened it, with gemini AI fixed it, then re-encoded it to gdc and repacked it.

Just replace the original. All I changed is the code to the fixes AI gave. Now when you use the code and exit the book you'll see "cheats" at the bottom right.
The engine might have had an update, and CORRECT_PASSWORD: = "l0p6o" doesn't seem to work because it tries to use both : and = before the string with the password.
(My knowledge in coding is limited to modding games, all I did here was ask AI what was wrong after I decoded the file)

What is the difference from the demo version on Steam?

I have completed walkthrough the demo... Saw all the content... not bad for a demo version.
The game has quite a lot of different mini-games and activities... Fishing and gardening were of course a win-win option.
So far the game looks interesting, the pixel art is nice, but let's see what will happen in the full version of the game and how much more content there will be.

The gameplay is pretty atrocious. There's very little skill. The gambling minigame is literally busted. Got like 5 instant death cards in a row. Should be a memory based thing where you can track where the cards go. Pure luck based gambling is dumb cause while slot machines exist poker is way more fun. I honestly recommend going one coin at a time.

On the fishing. The fishing lure is so sensitive it rockets to the top if you hold it for more than 0.000001 seconds, and it fucking bounces off the bottom??? It feels like playing CSGO with mouse acceleration on and 10,000 dpi just out of control. Like I can't not stress how greasy the fishing controls feel. Like opening a doorknob lathered with WD-40 while holding melted butter in your hand has more control. I caught a good amount of fish with it so it's not impossible but holy hell it's not enjoyable at all.

If you're going to make it this irritating to play the game at least make the rewards worth it. Some basic game design needs to be looked at. I love the art and the vibes which is why I'm even bothering with this comment. Seriously with a few minor tweaks the game could be way more fun without it becoming boringly easy.
