The game has been consistently getting sizable content updates for years, I'm not sure how that qualifies as a scam.

Man, I honestly wish more spicy games out there tried like LD does. It takes pride in anything it tries to do, and doesn't bother trying to be something it's not. I do sort of wish there wasn't such a heavy BDSM focus, but...I both imagine the dev team is small, and I don't know if that's intentional or just a consequence of what has been worked on so far.
The only honest critique I do have is pay-walling an ultimately unfinished product...but that's far more of an issue for a product that remains unfinished rather than one that gets somewhat steady updates. Plus, I can't say in good faith that any game can be made on community support alone. It...really just takes a special kind of person to make that happen, nevermind have it work.
Also, with how little content is even locked behind a paywall, and how much the game offers upfront at no cost? That hardly seems like a scam to me, either.

scams are rugpulls, fake presales and honeypots (things coded in ways that they are impossible to sell).
This amazing game is not a scam for sure. Its probably best text based game on this site.

Only some game over scenes are locked, I think there's currently seven in total. Those are generally more extreme than "normal" scenes, but everything else in the game is accessible in free version, rough stuff never was the game's focus (not even in original, pre-LD+ version, which had no patreon-locked content).

Thanks for that info, I wasn't sure! I just kinda uninstalled when that Patreon message was shoved in my face upon a defeat so I assumed the worst lol. I'll give it one more shot and if I like it I'll just buy the Patreon version, for support
slight question will the milking prison shop clothes be available ever if you don't become a succubus?
I believe so, but you have to have Rinny with you. Otherwise you can come and go freely.

I just tested. No, you can't return to the dream prison if you rejected becoming succubus, not even with Rinny (and if you did accept it, you don't need Rinny to accompany you; it's only necessary to use the sex machines within it).
Ah, my bad, I thought that might be the case but went to check the wiki just to make sure, and saw on the Queen's page you can visit "with or without" Rinny. I thought that meant you could if you had her with you, because why else would they have included the "with or without" part?
Oh well, again my bad on that one.

I'll edit it for clarity. What I meant is that visiting her again doesn't require Rinny's presence anymore (only first time, when you start the quest, she's needed).

Thanks guys, glad for the votes of confidence. I get how some people might get suspicious and think that 6+ years on one game should mean it should be completed by now, but it's designed to allow for new storylines and areas to be added anywhere. Content-wise, I'm pretty sure it dwarves many completed games at this point.
Probably not, because that's the uniform of true succubi/incubi jailers, so it wouldn't make sense for outsiders to get to wear them.
I wanted the mesh top to go with all the fishnet stuff I had I guess that can't happen unless we get one later on somewhere else

Temporary versions in scenes with forced nudity, drawing the mega version of every outfit is not something that was getting votes last I heard.
If i'm not hallucinating/misremembering, megaboobs would have its own outfit choice, rather than have the existing outfit drawn for megaboobs, the reason was redrawing existing outfit for megaboobs would too time consuming.
I'm pretty sure indivi said that back in ULMF, though its pretty early in LD+ development.
Seeing how bell's route unfolding, i think megaboobs would be the end result of her route, or at least one of the result if it has choice like became succubus or not like in rinny route.

In original Lust Doll, megaboobs indeed were compatible with only select few clothes pieces; anything else gets auto-removed if worn at the moment. And there was way less clothes back then. They were obtainable through normal body workshop, but only after seeing a hidden scene with boobs transformation.
In LD+, there's a hidden room in the succubus dream prison, albeit it's currently disabled (if you try to enter, you get "come back later" message); it only shows up if megaboobs are enabled. I'm not sure if Bell's route would be required to use it, but if it would, it wouldn't be the first time when you need to do character A's route to access content from character B's route.
