Thanks! I started working on this as a proof of concept, and just kind of a dev test to see if I could 'clone' Huniepop's grid mechanics, since I'm a huge fan of that game. The strip battles weren't even the initial idea, but they ended up being way more fun than I had ever anticipated. I've also always been opposed to any sort of gacha, microtransaction-ey trash in games.Finally a Puzzle Quest sequel I've been looking for. None of the gacha, micropayments, and hard-sell subscription bullshit plus all the the tits and ass you could ask for. Great start!
Couple of wishes:
- Make the inventory screens, etc. available in town as well as the world map
- Let the player advance time outside the dungeon
Also I should be able to set the pause menu as available in towns, since it's technically still active when you're in town.
And you sorta kinda can advance time outside of the dungeon, but you just have to walk back and forth on the world map. We also initially had the idea of a Tavern where you could sit and pass time, which I'm probably going to toss back into the game when we're closer to release.
