im not exactly expecting a reply but if it happens great
Can someone please explain me wtf is wrong with this game
I sometimes lose the battle after just 1 ko with no revive against the basic garbage level 1 succubus enemies.
I like to believe I understand the combat system decent enough (for as far as I am in the game atm and I have beaten Lust Grimm and Lust Grimm Again with even beating Lust Reaper first try on the hardest difficulty).
But this game's first area is proving more frustrating than the entirety of Lust Grimm Again (im playing on the hardest difficulty and the game is flatout not enjoyable and want to know if Im missing something or if this isjust how the game is designed, case in which Im dropping it)
i presume there's no orbs like in Lust Grimm to boost your stats based on number of attack type
Leveling up is insanely slow and tedious
Lust is flat out an absolute fun killer in this game, calming nuts are extremely hard to come across and are 50% weaker than in Lust Grim, from 30%down to 20%)
Equipment is trash
Enemies hit way way way harder.
What drove me to make this post is playing in the daylight as a level 12 and accidentally running into and attacking one level 1 succubus and getting one shot from 900 hp down to 0 and instantly lose without any revives.
Again, am I missing something or is this game THIS freaking stupid.

There's a bug where if you rest in Fess' bed in her space, you don't get the "revives" status, you need to complete one combat encounter (either by defeating the enemy or escaping) and after that you get the revives as intended.
I find it weird how you are having trouble leveling up in this game, as its balance is all over the place (if you fight just a bunch of enemies in strength order, you easily get to level 99 in the area where enemies are still level 30).
There are no orbs to get stronger from, the main way to get stats buffs other than leveling up is to befriend succubi and complete their "quests" (befriending succubi is also highly recommended to get the materials for Fess' tower because material drops will start to appear in the area you've explored, instead of relying on getting random drops with a low chance of it being an actual material; there is also the option to use orbs you get from defeating enemies to buy the materials at the shop).
Most equipment is indeed pure trash which very few exceptions. To fix this issue, if you really are struggling with the enemies and need a relative boost in combat as soon as possible, the best option is to get at least 30 fess medals and trade them to the corresponding trader (you are able to trade with her after upgrading Fess tower 2 items from what I've noticed). It is completely doable even from level 1, as most of all areas is unlocked from the beginning. The only issue with this option is that it takes quite some time, also considering that the Fess medals are in places much more hidden than in Lust Grimm.
As you mentioned, lust is much less "counterable", you are better off surrendering to one of the weak succubi to reset your lust (if you care about not being defeated, the only way to reduce it is from Calming nuts which are much more grindy or expensive to get compared to Lust Grimm).
To reassume, Lust Friend, compared to the other 62studio titles, is much more unbalanced and messy, however it encourages you to approach the game in a way to make the "conversation" skills the main mechanic (as it is literally in the game title) and my guess is that they threw balancing out the window simply because combat was not the main point of this game.
All of the above are thoughts on my experience in the game so feel free to point out something you disagree on.
