My first impressions:
The art is really nice. It has a good style with clear details. The expressions are very similar to the old princess trainer game and well, they are expressive.
I also appreciate the lighter tone in the writing. Humor is naturally subjective, but i found it funny and imho it's good to stop the apocalyptic setting from becoming full doom and gloom.
The list of women are well chosen, with clear and distinct personalities for different tastes and scenarios.
The negatives fortunately are not that impactful:
Essence gathering didn't seem precise. The counter didn't increase every time i thought it should. Maybe i misclicked, but it was not clear. But this is only a minor issue, since gathering 120-160 essence at a time is still quite easy and there is no need to min-max it.
The "highlighted" choices being dark is fine, but in the quest menu i had to keep double checking champions and quest tabs, because the dark green tab turning darker green might work, but is not the clearest method.
Speaking of which, the quest descriptions are good and i could find probably everything with them, but they weren't exactly "intuitive" at first. I get the idea to be a bit vague and instead of a full description it just gives pointers, but when combined with the random nature of the forest events, a lot of my searching was trial and error.
The Ahri event was well made, i like the different flavors it can have, but this also begs for a gallery to be added somewhere down the road. Maybe not in the next few patches, but eventually.
tl;dr:
A very solid start. The development had a good focus: the important details were well made and the set ups for future content are already there.
But if you guys make a habit of ending the patch right before the best parts of the story lines, i might have to assume you are evil.
