Ren'Py - Abandoned - Lust Legacy [v0.4] [JamLiz]

I tried this one out to see if it's any good since the dev started it without even finishing Sex Note. It's much worse. Uncreative and uninspired, ironic since the characters are "inspired" by real life pornstars. It's short and the writing is lazy. I don't expect a game like this (STS clones) to have good writing but Lust Legacy plays like a blatantly lazy attempt to create another game. Listing the pros and cons would be pointless, this game gets any traction solely because of SexNote existing playerbase.

To sum this up, this a worse copy paste of SexNote. And now, just like SexNote, it's abandoned and the dev has gone total silent. Lust Legacy is JamLiz's legacy of his lust for money from gullible patrons.

I was hoping for adventure in a world of busty pornstars... I'm disappointed, and with very slow development, this game will need 3 more years (or more) before a "proper" content.
Cool idea, not so much execution.

Pretty good. It's hard not to compare to Sexnote, the dev's previous (current?) other project, so I won't even try to avoid it.
Not sure why, but it loses a little something when the obvious pornstar references are a little too on the nose. Animations are smoother and well drawn, the dev's practice has definitely paid off.
It's still early, and I wish the dev would finish one project before starting another, but the content available is pretty good for 0.4, but has a ways to go before getting 5 star.
Also annoyed that Nacho can't be my "tax attorney" but instead is my "tax attorn". Give us a little more wiggle room if you're going to offer that option.

Basically Sex Note (same art style, for better or worse, and mostly parodies of famous people, and an incredibly ugly MC) but with less content and a porn industry focused story. The story happens pretty fast, possibly due to this review being for v0.3, and doesn't feel as taboo as it could.

If you loved Sex Note you'll give this five stars. If you're like me and think the art's on the fugly side, you'll give it one-three stars.

Despite the plot still not fully structured, I loved the premise of the game.

I always thought that a game like this one was missing, in which the "protagonists" of our fantasies play a role within a game with wonderful animations.

I mean the quality is outstanding and it's a bit funny to see porn actresses turned into sprites. The stories are very cliche of what you would expect to find on typical porn sites, but it's pretty funny to see it wrapped up in a game. It does show that context and immersion with that kind of content is far better than what you generally see.

Unique art style, similar to past game from this developer.

Game is still early, but has some way to go with developing story, but seems interesting so far.

Game mechanics are good but maybe a little more interactive options would be nice. Overall great effort so far.

idk why they start a new game if their previous game isn't finished, also this has huge overlap with stuff we've seen over there already (like under table blowjob scenes) and MC is ugly af. looks super goofy.

Update: The new style is inferior to the old one, whole rooms have been recycled and the recycling of real porn actors for this game makes the characters in the game plain boring and unoriginal. I've seen Riley Reid and Lena and others a thousand times, facing them in this game only gets a small yawn out of me.

-Ava is a little bit to easy in the beginning.. Yeah its a Adult game but come on 3 shots and she gives hand to MC without a little bit more teasing?

This game doesn't waste your time, provides you with 10/10 scenes, the mixture of the awesome and high-res art style mixed with animations is excellent! Especially the attention to detail with the sloppiness, truly a marvel! Can't wait for more!

Reviewing v0.2

The use of famous and hot pornstars is quite interesting and makes things very hot. Art is simply awesome, just like the dev's other game, and the gameplay flows extremely well. I really enjoyed playing it so far and I'm looking forward for further releases.

The animations and the girls are nice... so why the 2*s?
Basically there is NO plot. The game starts by showing all the goods as a quick dream scene so all the anticipation is gone.
Secondly it follows the awfully basic theme of "I need photos for porn , lets take photo's and give me a boobjob" plot which is corny as heck.

TL;DR: Lust Legacy is a pretty quick-into-action kind of visual novel. I like what I’ve seen so far, but I am wondering about the future plot elements. There’s a good amount of sex scenes for how short it is.

The Good: The art is very American toon porn aesthetic. Which is to say, it is great for those who are a fan of the style. The writing has a nice light-hearted tone to it. The sex scenes are quite nice, if a little limited to slow-fast-faster of the same animation.

The Average: Some of the art look like they’ve been lifted from scenes that are used for something else, which narratively makes little sense. It makes it feel like the game took short-cuts by reusing already existing art.

The Bad: The ending of the demo made me feel like it was going to turn into the run-of-the-mill asshole MC, so that’s not encouraging.

I love how the models are made after real adult film stars, and they look really well drawn, and the animations are really excellent. one of my top favorites and I would recommend this to everyone.

Art is obviously the biggest selling point. Not a fan of the premise of this game.

When the dev released the update in SexNote with Mia Khalifa, there was backlash. I don't understand why he would release an entire game around pornstars now.

Don't know why these dudes giving 1*, this is the perfect start of a great-quality incest game and already has reasonable mom/son content. Although the game replicates some IRL pornstars they still look unique and all the girls r hot. This is definitely a 4*+ game. Good shit dev

Ill be Honest I have a bit of a bias to begin with because I like Sexnote but not a fan of character ripping even if its another universe bla bla bla . This game seems to make you play the role of a porn star this already made me feel a little deterred because essentially it prompts swinging / NTR and other kind of kinks I'm not fond of and I'm not talking about it now but in the future seems to be a probability. then the fact that the game is not that original it would have been best if he focused on one game at a time and came up with another game not related to Sexnote rather then a money grab stunt. so I'm unfortunately going to give a 1 star.

Awesome start. I love Sex Note so I'm sure I'll love this one also. Love the characters also. Graphics are great and the videos are sexy and juicy. I look forward to seeing more of this game in the future.

[Demo] Really good as a proof of concept. Jamliz's art style and tone seem more polished in this demo, and I'm looking forward to seeing this expanded and turned into something great. My only criticism is that this demo doesn't really establish much of a conflict other than simply telling us that the MC's dad was murdered.
