VN - Ren'Py - Lust Odyssey [v0.29.1] [Xperiment]

I'm not always in a full gay mood, but this game did the trick for me. It's lewd enuf to keep you going, fully letting you embrace the btm slut you wanna be, and it keeps it "mostly" in the realm of somewhat fantasy plausbile.

Yes, all the dick sizes in this game would kill u, and the actual BIG ones in the game would turn u into pulp. But somehow it still feels close enough, and some sci fi techno "lets make a doohicky up" part of the game picks up the slack and gives at least a good enough bedrock to not be completely taken out of it. At least, from the frame of reference for a big dick monster game, its all relative ha.

Story got weird around the first big boss battle, but the ability to be a btm slut is compelling and delivered with quality. It could really use a lot more visuals tho, the writing keeps you interested but the visuals don't seem to really line up enough to be satisfying, at least not all the time. This game could really use a ghost mc avatar system, showing the mc in multiple positions, especially since there is a lot of cumflation *heart*, Id very much like to see it a bit.

Not complete, heres to hoping for more. If this next major update shows promise, might even consider donating. I donate to very few games, im a picky bitch, but this one is on the list of potentials. Just gotta vet them a bit more imo.

Okay i gonna divide this review in two parts
What is good:
-Writing
I found many things about the writing fantastic, first the way that game don't try overwhelm you with information as many games that being too seriously doing. As if was some kind of lord of the rings.
The way the information comes is very good and precise pacing
The writing quality is pretty good, explicit when trying to explain the world and characters and same time simple to read.
I love the main story so far is hard no to imagine some kind of mass effect style game with this story or baldur's gate 3 style where you could divide in 3 acts where act 1 finishes after The Warlord. I love so much the story let me more excited about its future more than Baldur's gate 1,2,3 entire (and i love this games).

What is Bad:
-Art
The has no CG, all happens with sprites and backgrounds, strangely some parts of your ship has no backgrounds , just descriptions.
Most of the things you have to imagine from the writing alone. And you can't see an sprite of your own characters, since there is no CG's, or many varios of armor, i would assume that not should be that hard to the character have at least a sprite. Even with the customization variations in the begin of the game that plays very few parts in game.
My issue with the art to where exaggerating too much on penises.

Subjective opinion:
I don't like how everybody is too pansexual, and everybody can be submissive or dominant to the extremes, causing few variations. Maybe with the exception of Katari.

This was a hard one to rate, I liked the potential it had, but it's still primarily M/M focused even with a female start. With that regard the kink filter wasn't particularly great, I don't think I ever expected making a female character and seeing there's only male lactation. It would also periodically give me a penis or cut to unavoidable M/M scenes. I like the idea of insubordinate crewmates "hate fucking" your captain character, per the dev description, but I never saw it actually happen unless I was the one doing it.

This is the best game I've played so far. A game that has a lot of options. You can deactivate undesirable content. Nobody can force you, unless you want to. The downside of this game is that sometimes bugs can break the gameplay badly.

The game is taking time to specialise different aspects of your relationships whilst still continuing the main thrust of the story. This is one of the very few games, that will continue to provide no matter what!

Pros: Great art, lots of hot scenes, actually compelling/interesting story, good questlog system that keeps you knowing what to do, ample menu options to disable the kinds of content you're not interested in

Cons: Unfinished, some inconsistencies (like not removing old dialogue options where you talk about things you're going to do even tho you've already done them), very few actual sex images (it's mostly text aside from the nude dudes), there's two different 'meters' for each relationship you have and apparently events are invisibly tied to them with no way of knowing what exists, can be a tad grindy at times, one place has a 'casino' which is basically an infinite money cheat except you have to save scum

Overall really enjoyed the game, biggest con is just that it's unfinished. Feels like there's a lot left to be done, hoping it gets a lot more content in due time

10 hours in to this game and I have to take a break. Yes it is THAT GOOD! I haven't gotten to the end of what's here yet. I don't think I will for awhile!

Pro:
-Incredible story with so many facets. VERY well written.
-Every character I've met so far other than 3 has a sex scene or 5.
-You can choose kinks, being Dom or sub, male or female, and all variations.
-One of the few GAY games (If you are male) that are this detailed and have a story.
-Took me a bit to figure it out, but the clue system is there. Tells you what to do next, and where.

Cons:
-No sex stills or animations. It focuses on the character that you are with and you do not see the coupling. That's the only con i can come up with.

100% recommended!!! Can't wait to finish what's here tomorrow!

Although it is 95% text and lacks visuals, this game manages to create very complete universe of it's own(or more like a collective universe from all sci-fi movies and games). Writing is good, but sex scenes are pretty short and can be much more descriptive (since game lacks visuals anyway). Quest log is kind of buggy, stats are not very clear (why would i need strenght if th eonly weapon is a gun!?). However, all that is easily fixable. The game can be a real gem with a little touch-ups here and there.

I always find myself waiting with bated breath for an update in this game every time I visit this site. Let that speak volumes. I'm not going to pretend this game doesn't have issues. (Particularly with the grindy nature and the level up mechanics) But man is this just such a quality product.

One of the best RPG'S with content for gays and straights, super interactive and creative, I love it so much!
In addition to the fact that it has several mechanics, whether in gameplay or in choices during the game's progression. I look forward to the next updates that promise a lot, with more and more unexpected and attention-grabbing events. One of the best gay games by far.
Oh, one more thing I forgot to mention. I'm very curious to know what will happen with the pregnancy issue for the bottom with Hakkon haha.

Easily the most erotic/kinky Visual Novel/RPG game I've played to date, story and writing are pretty solid, there is a few grammatical errors and poor English in certain text but it's good.

Not really anything THAT negative to say about it.

this is one of the best game ever! the writing is top notch, in normal setting or fetish setting. Really, the way this game written really impressive. the graphic albeit very simple but hot, really hot. Its a bit grindy, but you can cheat easily though. 5 stars on the general game aspect.
Then there is this fetish and sexual aspect. Its just so hot, the way the NPCs talk to the player, really hot, naughty and fun too. As a female gamer often hard finding nice immersive game, this game could be the epitome of male content game. The kinks exploration, really, well plotted. 1000/5 Stars
The plot is pretty nice too. Though i'd rather focus on the sexual part, not many game could explore the "humiliation" and sub kinks this well. Its a joy to find this game, much gratitude to the developer.
(-) the development a little bit slow

A rare game that focuses on male contect. Reminds me of Fenoxo games but with better graphics and less chunks of reading which gives a better gaming experience to non-native english speakers like me. Though less pages of paragraphes, the quality of text is outstanding.The variaty of feitishes is impressive and unlike in many games you only see them once in option setting, here they are implemented very well throughout the game.

Characeters are well disigned with distint charateristics/kinks, each is very interesting that I can't pick my favourite. I'm mostly looking forwards to the werewolf in the club, who came with hunter/prey play, but you can turn the table and play with his ears and pat him, I'm really wishing there will be petplay with him in the future.

Preperably playing as dominant bottom, the respect system provides a good interpretation to D/S dimension other than just the traditional domtop/subbottom. However as a WIP game, maybe the system is not complete there are situations where you won the battle but still been called a 'submissive bitch' simply because you have no tool to fuck him(femalemc). Also almost all special plots/brunches are for topdom/bottomsub.

I just love it! The potential and the art are incredible. I just love that you can be submissive to such massive aliens xd, also, the grinding makes a trully fun, immersive and rewarding experience!! keep up the good work

Very well made game - choices actually matter and affect gameplay. Art style isn't my favorite but it grows on you and the narrative is great, and extensive. Also appreciate that you can toggle fetishes/interests, which is a nice touch. Look forward to future updates.
