That was some season finale. I admit the story developed along one of the lines I thought possible, but also supposedly this will be coming back with a season 3 at some point, I admit I didn't think Inceton was gonna go with it until the basically bitter end.
At the beginning, lots of people constantly complained about the repeating days and that it took ages to come to real porn content, while I never agreed with that approach, even if I did, I got to say, the last few updates were so chock-full of really great sex scenes and combinations, even if I did agree with the claim, it would completely shut me up now.
Without spoiling too much there is this orgy right before the end... what a shitload of content. I kept choosing the same women, just to see how long their scene would continue, and was surprised how long they did.
I have no idea where you would go with a season three, but I love how the girls look, I love the sex scenes and the story while just setting for the ecchi is actually enjoyable as well.
Also, it was nice to see the MC who could be quite the manipulative bitch at times, try to be completely there for the women in his life at least once.
Kudos to the dev team for this ending. Even if the game had no further season, this would be a great place to end it anyway.
I've seen some reviews very disappointed in the ending and giving really low ratings due to that.
I would just like to point out that this is something that completely comes down to your tastes, neither me loving it, or others hating it, is any indication of how you will see it.
In general I think this game still gets rated way more critical and in many cases ridiculously unfair than others do.

I had to give the game a rating, because to be honest it is really good.
The girls look great, it has a unique approach to ren'py gameplay and the events are good as well.

I also encountered nothing of what all the people are complaining about, no grinding, no bugs, nothing.

Edited to add: It seems to me some of the other reviewers just have trouble adapting to the game style.
It offers hints for a reason, at times it even takes you by the hand.
The only time it felt like grinding was when I searched for one of the hidden events, but hey it's not like you need to waste time searching these.

I kind of get that people find the ads annoying, but we fuckers don't pay for the game, so how can we of all people complain about the ads, especially when it never was a problem getting the code to switch them off? That does not justify giving an otherwise great game a 1 star review.

The updates could be bigger, but damn if that isn't true about dozens of games.

Game is beautifully rendered ( a point in consider important. graphics DO matter )

Girls are amazingly designed, beautiful ( again, they're the essence of any good adult game ! )

Echoes of Lust [Ep. 1-6] [Inceton]

Skill Idea: 9/10 (Unique ability to repeat the day & rename the Characters)
Art: 9/10 (Excellent shadowing, without clipping, and superb rendering)
Animation: 10/10 (Great looping with seamless tie-ins. Perfect)
Story: 8/10 (Hasn't been done this well in any other games I've played, but replay-ability is limited and there are some grammar errors)
Bugs: 7/10 (Outsourced 'Script.RPY' needed to fix locked intro screen)
Conclusion: 8.6/10 It is a great game, with many unique ideas and game facets. Bug fix is crucial as it completely locks up any progression of starting the game. Repeatability is non-entity, once the character is 'To be Continued' you are locked. Would be nice to be able to replay the original scenes or other choices instead of being locked out. (Because the day does just repeat itself? Right?) Everything else about this game is absolutely excellent and I highly recommend. Cheers and have a champion day!

The animations are amazing along with the renders, the story is original for this kind of game and the dialogue is funny and the characters are well written, its just an overall great game and theres still a long way to go but with the way things are now this game will be excellent

Good idea for the story - groundhog day
+ great looking girls (for me only "Elizabeth, Jess and teacher")
+ sexy scenes
+ good anims
+ good potential - looking forward to updates but to actually be able to proceed with the characters it's not possible to build up a relationship in one day so after some day there should be a twist that eg affection between you and the characters does not vanish even though the day repeats
- sometimes the face expressions look weird
- 1-6 kind of a blue balls episodes

The case when the game from update to update becomes worse.
I didn't like the other games of the authors very much, but this game looked very promising when I played it in first time.

Quality renders, good animations, pretty characters, interesting idea, like a porn Groundhog Day.
But after three updates, the changes are essentially zero. Of course, I understand that this is not the only project the authors have in their work. But it's just a dispersion of resources, IMHO.

There's not much chance that the authors can handle their own idea. The main problem is that everything happens in one day. Well, you can't seduce your older sister who can't stand you in one day. Even if you find out all the secrets about her. Also with his mother, here the story is not clear how to continue. I hope it will not be a rape.
And no progress of Groundhog Day in general.

No, of course you can object that this is a porn game, and the story here is just to explain why everyone fucks each other. But the problem is that by the sixth update, there's only one blow job and one weird night scene with the mother. In general, it will take a long time to wait.

Echoes of Lust so far is an excellent game with beautiful renders, sexier girls and a great game mechanic based around a 'Groundhog Day' premise. The writing is generally quite good and the scenes so far are hot, with great artwork and amazing animations. Looking forward to future updates.

I really like the characters and am interested in the overall story arc. It is a bit generic though with the whole restarting the day thing, and I'm kinda predicting that at the end he'll be caught or something. Hopefully, they know how to rein it that last act because, I am pretty excited to see how it ends. But for now, it is an interesting game.

As of Episode 5, this became one of my favorite's to play. The animations and artwork is amazing, and while the writing of the story could be better, it's interesting enough. While this review is a bit lacking, the game is not.

There are many complaints against this "game" but the complaints to me, are hating on the fact that this is supposed to be a "game," and not a kinetic VN. If you dislike "work" or a small grind, the game will displease you somewhat.

In the end, I suggest everyone to give this a shot!

Pleasant surprise, more straightforward "Groundhogging" story than other games with a similar theme, art is clearly above average but may lack some personality if you have played many 3D rendered games. Awesome "quality of life" additions (nice inclusion of tutorial, little by little when something new is introduced, automatic skipping of events up until a point where there is some new choice available) Characters art and personality are a bit generic, but not as much as Anthem. They are looking good and fappable anyway, which is what matters.

I could see how this game might be interesting if more than just one day could be repeated but as is, it's just dumb all around and only thing going for it are the hot girls. Inceton should focus on continuing the development of living with mia at this point if this is the best that can be imagined for a new game. Should have made an entire week be repeatable, so much more could have been achieved in a time frame like that. Would have made more sense really that you progress the game repeating a new week by getting one of the girls bedded down either via a love or corruption route and once parameters like that are met you then progress into week 2 and have to pick another girl while building up things with the one you've already snagged. Perhaps by focusing in that manner, some of them end up in ntr events with other guys or even other girls in the game as a consequence of not going after them first which would give this replay value.

Its a God Damn Fucking Shame. I love this game just as much as I fucking hate it. Basically the Mc is reliving the exact same day stuck in a loop like groundhogs day. I like the premise and I do enjoy Inceton previous works they have some fun titles under their belt. Graphics/renders are beautiful, the story is interesting, throughout the day you able to alter events in your favor, I do like the trial in error where your forced to think about figuring out your next event. Sadly what kills the game for me is the Fucking Pacing its too god damn fucking slow, the build up sucks just as soon as everything gets good and spicy everything comes to an erupt end. This the 5th Chapter Still no Sex not unless you count sticking the tip in right before the night ends and everything resets and you can't do anything because the quest is complete until the next fucking update, We are all fucking stuck with nudity and masturbation and now finger banging, some nude selfies and you spy on your Sis masturbating , fuck at least we got a blowjob/hand job last update but came instantly too brief to enjoy so it still feels like this is a step back. Everything Resets in this world anyway So Get to the Fucking Point 5 Chapters and Still No Sex we ain't got Jack Shit!

This review is based on episodes 1-4.

Let me address the elephant in the room: the ads are a non-issue. Disable them with the code, and be done with it. Yes, it sucks that the dev does it, but w/e, frankly with most people pirating the game I can't actually blame them. As long as there are easy enough ways to disable it, it doesn't matter to me. And it doesn't get much simpler than this.

There's definitely a lot of potential here. The renders are great, and the women feature realistic proportions, which is as rare as it is welcome. The time loop mechanic is a nice twist on the typical mother/sister/friend incest creep scenario.

The developments are actually believable, and I'm already surprised how much content you can get out of one day if you play your cards right and use insider-knowledge that you didn't have on previous days. I feel like the dev was very creative this way.

The writing is also far better than I'm used to from these games, which definitely helps with having believable characters. And maybe I have just played too many poorly translated games lately, but it's very refreshing to have a native English speaking dev (or at least one who writes as good as a native speaker).

The only two reasons I don't rate this five stars is because for one, there are a few bugs left at this point, and while they're not critical or crippling, they're more than just superficial. Given the complexities of the time loop mechanic I normally wouldn't hold that against the dev, but at times it does go against enjoying the game more than I'd like. Though to be fair, everything is usually fixed on the next replay of the day.

The other reason is that at this point (episode 4) there's simply not much content yet. There are a handful sexual scenes, though no actual intercourse yet.

Again, the game is still young, so no major drawback, but not five star worthy yet. But it certainly has the potential to get there. I'll certainly be following this game and I'll revise this review when something changes.

Let's break it down:
Story / Originality: In terms of adult games it might be the first time I've seen this particular story pop up, but overall it's just a reuse of an old concept in writing that's been not only overused in writing but also in other areas such as movies; Nothing really new.
An all too common aspect with games like these are the characters themselves who are either extreme sluts, exhibitionists or just plain """special""". An example of this would be several characters that will just offer to get naked for no apparent reason at all. Don't want to spoil too much so I'll leave it at that.

Renders: Not bad, but not really that great. If I had to describe them in one word it would be: Standard.

Sounds: Annoying, loud and repetitive.

Playability / Bugs: On a scale from 1 to 10 it's a definite negative 100.
First off, it's buggy, certain scenes where you would progress thanks to events in game, you don't. To explain this further you have to know the game bases actions on a day to day basis and there are certain events that end the day, but code wise, it still thinks you're on the same day meaning you can't perform certain actions since it thinks you've already done them.
Then there's the fact that the developer thinks key Ren'py function such as skip unread text, continuing to skip after choices or disable transitions are not important, so he removed them without any explanation at all, making your experience playing the game way more annoying (unless you use external tools to bypass this).
Not to be outdone, by the previously mentioned annoyances, this game features an additional bonus, which every player loves, ads (btw that was irony). You get ads in the middle of the game that stop your gameplay and deceivingly send you to his patreon page unless you use a code to disable them; Thankfully someone shared the code in the thread and if you're planning on playing this game I cannot urge you more to look at the OP and look for the code there.
Only positive I can think of, is there are hints to know what to do next.

Performance: No complaints here, but that's not really a positive just something you'd expected.

Animations: None? I can't remember any.

Grammar: Ok(ish), some mistakes here and there.

Amount of content: Subpar.

The first and only porn game to have ads in the game. Don't support this game unless you want other porn games to adopt this practice. As for the game, it's kind of boring and generic and the personalities aren't interesting. The renders look alright but nothing we haven't seen before. The groundhogs day plot is something new but it doesn't add to any sexiness or sex scenes and it by itself is not some super interesting story so I don't think it adds anything. None of the girls have any kind of interesting personality to make you like them, they're as generic as possible.

I think the concept of repeating day is particularly bad for a video game. Video game relies on the player feeling like they are in the game, having to repeat the same day over and over and over again is not a pleasant experience to have. Giving the option to skip things simply makes the game felt empty.

Repeating the day concept also robs the player of the sense of progression toward the story. It just feels like a lazy way to allow the player to get away without consequence to their choices.

2-star rating instead of 1-star because at least some of the characters are mildly interesting.

EDITED up to Episode 7: Dropped to 1-star (real rating is 1.5-star) because the game has now evolved into relying on Hidden Event as the majority of content of the updates because it's stuck with the awful repeating day concept.

Story: For now, it's interesting, nothing to say(Ep.1-3 are kinda short...soo i can't say enough for having an opinion about it)

Graphic: The Dark Neighborhood's artist/artists can learn a lot from this game, i love the graphic here(but it's similar to Milfy City so they can learn even from there u.u)

Bonus: Zoe and Megan are pretty much my favorite girls in this game..

ps: Sorry but the game is so short that actually i don't have a complete opinion so the short version of this review can be: For now it's good, i'm hoping for more updates(or more contents). Also the only reason that i didn't give 5stars it's exactly bc the game it's too short (for now) so...soon as the game will be bigger that problem will be fixed and i'll be happy to give the fifth star
